Longborough Village Shop and Cafe

I came through Longborough when I cycled to Longborough Opera. I had planned to stop at the village shop and café for refreshments. The lady who runs the shop was very welcoming and made me a nice tuna salad for lunch (which was not even on the menu). She offers also Sandwiches, baguettes etc. and coffee/teas. I enjoyed sitting in the shade of the lovely back garden, but there are also tables out front and inside in case of bad weather. The shop has a very good selection of products incl. fresh veg and fruit (The nectarine I had was delicious.). Ideal for the locals to pick something up quickly.The village shop and café is an lovely place to have breakfast/lunch or just a nice cuppa and a cake.

Great friendly local shop

Definitely worth seeking out this cute local gem of happiness. Lovely friendly staff very knowledgeable about the local walks and places of interest. Coffee is good quality and well made to order. The real secret is the locally homemade cakes by the village top bakers. Have a slice of heaven with your cuppa!

Fantastic village shop and cafe. Great selection of foods and goods from local vegetables to everyday household items. Home-baked cakes and heated pasties available in the café with free WiFi that's so much faster than the data in the area. Highly recommended.
