Gullane Golf Club Visitors Clubhouse
Fantastic golf experience! Lovely round on Gullane No. 3 with excellent rentals (Jack and Jenny in the pro shop fitted us out well :-)) and answered all of our questions as first time golfers in Scotland.Course was in great shape, did our fair share of hills and bunkers and thoroughly enjoyed the G&T's afterwards too!Definitely would come back to do No 2 and 3!

It rained incessantly but our experience was not deterred by it. Extremely warm and cheerful greeting on arrival. Simon, one of the starters, was a remarkably positive, informative and charming man. The food was more than satisfactory afterwards.

Gullane Golf Club Visitors Clubhouse
Coach driver brining in 28 men to play golf. I asked if I could pay for a cup of coffee. They heavily inferred I could not stay in the club house because I was not a member, guest or playing a round! I only brought in people to play. I could have a take out. Not welcoming considering the money I brought into the club. Needless to say my passengers were not happy either.

Gullane Golf Club Visitors Clubhouse
We played Gullane No. 2 where the Scottish Open were played a year before. Due to this the course is very crowded and teetimes are hard to get. Although the course was packed, pace of play was rather fast. What really made playing golf on this course tough are the strong winds from the ocean. The clubhouse does not allow you in with spiked shoes, so remember to bring a second pair for your post round beer.

Gullane Golf Club Visitors Clubhouse
Played here for the third time. First time over 25 years ago. Still one of my favourite courses in Scotland. Staff are friendly and I always have sunny weather. The locals tell me it's always like that. The new modern clubhouse is excellent and the restaurant bar area is a perfect spot for after round meals and drinks. Heaven.

Gullane is a must if you are golfing in that area of Scotland. Great courses, always in good condition , really well organised and smoothly run. Clubhouse is well appointed and everyone is very helpful.
