The food we were able to order was ok, exceptI had the pie which came with mash and peas, but as I don't like peas, so I asked for no peas and ordered a side of tender stem broccoli. The portion of brocoli was very small, as wS the mash! We wanted a carvery, and were told there was only 1 portion left, even though there was plenty on display! Then we chose a mixed grill, to be told there was no steak left either. Very disappointing! However, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice place for family day out on the pub there are 2 side. One next to the bar area more modern and nice. They have one pool table as well. Good free car parking area also have one electric fast car charger in the car park.

Poor for vegetarians, staff lovelyat 1.30pm on a Saturday no veggie options (being delivered apparently) despite being on the menu, only a curry or vegan burger, opted for later, burger and chips OK but vegan coleslaw poor and portions mean (and why serve on a China plate with a piece of blue and white paper under the food, there must be a reason I'm sure). I haven't been to a Brewers fayre for years and hope not to again, it was a pit stop on a long journey from N Wales to Ipswich but I'll turn off the main road and go to a village pub next time

We had pre booked for 7 of us for the festive deal. We went to order to be told there were no mains apart from gourmet fish. We all wanted turkey, what a disappointment. We had to choose off the main menu and they wouldn't give it at the same price. We had booked for 7pm.Want be back.

Really enjoyed our stay, we were there for a wedding and as we checked in were offered prosecco! Great way to start our weekend!The breakfast was really nice with a big selection, the pub was traditional with a pool table.We had a few questions about places to go etc... and the staff were great, really friendly, were happy to help and gave us some local tips.Definitely recommend!

As they say it's the little things that count". I walked in and there was a lovely dressed Xmas tree. I was then welcomed in by a very friendly waitress they told me lunch would start in about ten mins. The biggest thing I noticed was how hard the two waitresses worked. They were really flying around making sure every customer was being looked after. I had a burger. The only thing I would say was the bacon was a touch over done. But other than that it was very tasty. A nice place to visit. But it's ultimate thing is the service levels are superb."

We called in here on the way home. Food was quite good and plenty of it. Cocktails 2 for £10 were lovely. The place could do with a good deep clean apart from that it was good
