Arriva Buses Wales

This review is regarding a trip in Wales - the X5 in Conwy to be precise.The rude and arrogant driver was sarcastic and rude to me as it took me a minute to find my ticket.Bear in mind I suffer with a panic and anxiety disorder and a physical disability, similar to MS, in my hands and arms. This slowed me down in finding my ticket. The whole time I was apologising, as I appreciate they are on a time table. Ordinarily, I would have my ticket ready, but I was not expecting the bus to pull up so quickly. Never the less, it did take me about 1 minute to find my ticket.When I alighted from the bus he was rude, and aggressively sarcastic, again. I called to make a complaint , but I doubt there will be much consequence. It looks like we're going back to the days of yesteryear, before companies gave customer service training, and drivers could be as rude and aggressive as they liked:upsetting people, inducing panic attacks, disregarding individual's/PAYING customer's right to not be provoked or offended by the driver.The truly horrible driver resulted in a horrible journey, and I shall be avoiding Arriva buses as much as possible in the future.

Always late and sometimes just doesn’t show up. I would understand if there was traffic but 90% of the time there isn’t. Tickets are also highly priced and some drivers are rude.

Last night, the 5 bus to Llandudno which should have left Conwy just after 7 pm did not turn up, even though it’s progress had been shown on the Arriva app! This is not the first time this has happened but it is vey disappointing. If the bus has to be cancelled during these difficult times, just post it on the app. We had to pay £10 for a cab home.

Not a nice driver he was swearing at me. How does people go on there buses it's a shame that pardons not here no more very nasty people working for Arriva

Hailed the bus and it just drove on

Used this great service whilst on a recent visit to Prestatyn. Around £5 gets you a day ticket to go anywhere you like. Hop on and off as much as you like. We traveled on several occasions from Prestatyn to Llandudno enjoying the landscape as we went. The drivers are brilliant and extremely skilled at getting the double deckers through difficult spaces. Very popular with the elderly and young people alike. Couldn't fault this service. Excellent.
