APC Overnight - Edinburgh Depot

APC were booked by the free range food producer to deliver my fresh Christmas turkey & food order. It has not arrived, no communication text or emails at all from APC. This food is now ruined as it's not been delivered within the time frame and is at least 2 days late. I would never use this delivery company again. I hope the food producer will be refunded the costs by APC . Apparently 5000 parcels have not been delivered in Edinburgh by APC as yet on 23rd Dec.

——————AVOID——————The most awful courier company. The driver never call before they do the delivery and I have to book redelivery for 3 times.Update：the customer service lies about redelivery, the whole company is nothing but a joke.

I hate to write a bad review as this is not good for a company and I run a business myself. I use them for years but you need to email them on the day a parcel is booked to collect as I book a day before so it is not a last minute booking. If you don't remind them they won't come and if you call them to remind them they forget even if you remind them in the morning and then call them again to remind them in the afternoon.I'm hoping they can use there system better to check bookings hence the purpose of this review. Please improve your communication.

Waited in all day for a delivery. Sitting waiting for it to arrive when email comes in saying APC tried to deliver but not possible as no one in. Certainly there was picture of the front door. Then spent 25 minutes chasing up trying to get van back. Driver not willing to come back. Reportedly said he knocked on door. I point out it is a big house so why did he not ring doorbell. Suddenly it is said he did ring bell. I say it works well, and I would have heard it. It is then said well maybe he did not press it properly. Outcome - because I cannot wait in again - is that will have to go to depot half an hour each way to pick up parcels. APC are rubbish - not for the first time in my experience. Avoid at all costs. Will inform supplier to do this. One star is only given because one cannot post comments without some ranking.

The purchase from online shop was delivered by APC by default so not my choice. The item arrived broken (it was a replacement wheel for a pram so nothing fragile). By the state of packaging I can tell it's been damaged during transfer. Now I'm hoping for the compensation.

APC lost my parcel in which I had some important documentation. The parcel was tracked and signed for so extra money spent in order to ensure the box arrives safely at destination. I was told that they forgot to scan the parcel at their depot and the box got lost" . This company should definitely not be in business. USE THEIR SERVICES AT YOUR OWN RISK"

Thanks so much guys.going by your tracker delivery has had a nice tour of west Lothian before going back to your depot.Wish I could have seen it at some point while I was waiting for it in my shop apparently I'm still number 43 out of 55. Six hour after it finished it tour and returned to you depot.Next day my backside.But what makes it worse is the fact I'm so close to your depot.So thanks for wasting my evening.I'm starting mail order myself soon, guess who won't be getting my business.

Missed my parcel delivery so tried to rearrange online. Unfortunately the app wouldn’t allow me to pick a new delivery date so had to phone instead.Despite not being open at the weekend which is weird for a parcel delivery outlet, I spoke with a nice member of staff.A new date was agreed and my parcel was delivered within the time agreed by a very pleasant delivery driver, thank you.

My parcel was dated the 19th of December and was for urgent delivery on or before 23rd December. I received an update from APC stating that delivery would be made on the 23rd of December. When it didn't appear, I contacted them to see what happened. They told me the details I was seeing in the system must have been 'manifested' by the sender before it was even collected, and they didn't have the parcel. HmmmMy parcel appeared today, the 30th December (11 days later), which was too late and is now of no use. There was no update by APC to say why it took them 11 days to deliver, this is not good enough! It's clear the profits of the business are put before the needs of the customer. You only need to read the many reviews to see how many people have been let down by them. They blame senders without taking any responsibility, this needs to change.I'm so glad to see that Ofcom is taking potential enforcement action with delivery companies from 2023 in order for customers to be treated fairly. As customers, we are paying for services that we are not receiving - this is NOT okay!

Absolutely useless. Meant to deliver a parcel to us last week. Stopped outside the house but didn't ring the doorbell, knock on the door or leave a note and now the parcel is being returned because we didn't collect it. This is not the first issue we have had with them. They disconnect their phone so noone can call them. Avoid at all cost
