The White Hart
Faultless. Had an absolutely amazing time here. The customer service was incredible, our waiter Joe was so friendly and so accommodating, he really made our the experience worthwhile. The food was incredible, highly recommend the scallops and the sticky toffee pudding! The portion sizes of the mains are very generous and I loved the decor. I would 100% visit again.

Being local I have been to the White Hart many times. I know the food is always fairly good and a nice atmosphere but was totally put out today.On arriving with a couple of friends I was met by a member of staff( possibly the manager) or restaurant manager. I explained that we had come to eat. He abruptly asked me if we had reserved a table to which I replied we had not.To which he then rudely told me' well yr not eating then!'They were obviously busy due to it being the Christmas period but the attitude stank!funnily enough we went next door the the cricketers where we were given a big table and had very friendly good service and delicious food.

First time here and will be sure to return, staff were very helpful and even went the extra mile by adding a 'happy birthday ' on the pudding for one of our party. Food was top notch and very good portions

The revamp is brilliant. Adding a bar counter has made a huge difference and the waiter was very sharp and k new what he was doing.personally I think the portions are a little on the small side but saying that, I am a big eater so may not be an issue for most.go and have a meal.well worth it....well done all.

Right off the bat, the customer service was brilliant!! I made an inquiry for a table for 10 people, had a swift response in the form of a phonecall saying my original time couldn't be catered for, the fantastic staff member on the end of the phone informed me why but very much didn't have to, so I changed my time and got booked in.We arrived and were seated immediately, a member of staff was ready and waiting to take out drinks order when we had decided, considering we were a party of 10 both the drinks and food arrived in a very timely manner. My buttermilk chicken burger was pretty hefty and so so flavoursome, there were many roasts which were also thoroughly enjoyed without complaint!! The fish, absolutely huge and very very crispy.We had a vegan friend dining with us who said her curry was delicious but could have been slightly bigger and there could have been more options.Other than that minor note we had a fantastic time visiting The Whitehart Pirbright and will definitely be visiting again.

Have frequented the White Hart many times over the years.Went to the remodelling (pre launch) lunch event following the recent refurbishment . A warm welcome, beautiful decor, cosy and comfortable, with original features retained but smartened up. Viewing the garden outside there are many more tables and shades (I think with heating) which will be popular too.Attentive, friendly staff (thank you Abbie for serving us). Good menu and wine choice. We enjoyed a complementary shared baked Camembert starter followed by perfectly cooked, tender medium rare Chateaubriand main and fresh vegetable side. All beautifully presented and cooked, hot, tasty, delicious. We chose the luxury ice creams for a light dessert, followed by good coffee.Thank you for a really great lunch in such an inviting upgraded setting. Festive menu looks very appealing.Full compliments to the chef, management and staff. Look forward to returning soon.
