The Nail bar in Shinfield road

Good points and bad points. Had Acrylics done yesterday.Bad points - No hygiene observed when moving from one customer to another. No tools cleaned or disinfected, between moving from one person to another. Also make you feel rushed as while your nails are drying, they start on the next customer.Good points - The nails feel and look amazing. They make me want to show off my nails which, of course, I will.

AVOID!!! Rude and hygiene is a disgusting! Had one fresh set then went back 3 weeks later for infills! Then I get fungal infection in 3 nails! I called complained because they were not stuck down properly!! This is not my fault it is yours and been confirmed at the doctors! They also asked me where I had them done told them and they told me same place and other people have had this problem! They can’t take any complaint always on the defensive and argue with you! Now I’m left with 3 nails that are infected!! With no sorry nothing!! Hygiene with tools are non existent! I’ve been getting my nails done for 18 year plus and this has never ever happened before.

Extremely rude. Have been here a couple of times before and the nails are usually pretty good, however, the experience not so good. It was my friends birthday I took her to get her nails done, along with mine and spent nearly £100. They was very snappy and rude throughout the appointment. Got to the end and was told off for talking and got told I talk too much. I will never come back and make sure none of my friends do. I’ve never been in a salon where I’m not allowed to talk. They should have asked me nicely if it was such a problem.

The place is very clean and easily accessible. I had a Manicure and Pedicure today and I love the fact that they offer Walk ins. They don't accept Card payments, so it's better to have cash. I didn't have cash as I didn't know that prior but they were lenient enough to let me do a Bank transfer which is nice. The guy who did my pedicure was super nice. He took his time and even offered me a drink choice. Ended up having a bottle of water. The manicure was good too. I love how my nails turned out. The guy who did them was super friendly. Only suggestion I could make is to allow enough time while switching the LED from one hand to another or let the Client know its time to switch so that they could be Mentally prepared and don't feel rushed. I asked the guy for more time and he was super nice about it. He did a Great job. I will definitely be back and will recommend the place to others. Thank you!

I’m really sorry to say but I now have a terrible nail infection on both hands after visiting Whitley Nails. I’ve always noticed the hygiene levels were very different to some other beauticians I’ve been too - no sterilising of equipment or even washing of hands between customers. I’m now left with an infection in nails on both hands, nails that are lifting off or having had to be cut back to the cuticle. I haven’t gone in to address this as I’m sure the response wouldn’t be very positive. I do think hygiene levels need to be addressed as this is not how I should be left from a simple gel manicure! It’s really upsetting.

The artist doing my nails (young gentleman with shaved head) was great! Super friendly, fast and great attention to detail! At the start I realised I didn't like the way my nails were turning out so I told the artist but the manager and other employees were a little rude in response. Thankfully, my artist was able to fix them and they looked great in the end.

Obnoxious guy who did my feet and you can clearly see there is favouritism to clients who get more done. I wanted normal nail colour and not gel colour and it was so evident that the lady next to me was getting much better treatment and feet massage because she was doing gelsWhen I questioned it they said you are paying £24.The guy was rude and said ' get him to do your nails next time'Just because they are busy, they think they can treat you how they want.Very disappointed.
