I’ve been getting my hair cut by Antony since 2013 at his old shop in Carrick Knowe. I also travel from Midlothian for the pleasure! That should hopefully speak for itself.Always get a good haircut.First class service too. Antony and Adam are ever the professionals and make customers feel welcomed.Couldn’t recommend enough.

Antony has cut my hair for a few years now before moving to his new premises on St John's Road. It's really smart and he and his team are very skilled and efficient. I normally try to make an appointment to avoid waiting, but I would rather wait than go elsewhere. It's a friendly, relaxed environment and I have never felt disappointed with my cut. I would sooner he had called it a barber's but then maybe I need to 'get with the beat'. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him. Peter cut my hair today though and he's good - (watch out Antony !!)

Just had my hair cut today and am super happy with the result. Such a nice atmosphere here, nice people always happy to chat. Prices are very reasonable too. Completely recommend them.

Excellent.First off, the salon itself is kept spotless, really nice interior. I had my cut from Sam who was super friendly and took the time to understand what I wanted.The cut was great, especially for £20 including the tip.Will absolutely be back. Cheers guys!

Didn't understand the hair cut that I wanted and didn't communicate properly as well. For the price that is charged, you expect better service.

My dad used to get what hair he had cut at Anthony's place in Carrick Knowe and he recommended Anthony unreservedly as a sound bloke and fine hairdresser. Turns out dad was right so I've been visiting Anthony for years now to keep me pretty every time I visit from Canada.Nothing better than a good wet shave and a haircut to sort you out after a long flight.In addition to doing a snappy job on the noggin hair Anthony's careful and fastidious about all those old man stray hairs like crazy eyebrows and ear fuzz too. The kids seem to love getting their hair cut and it's a fun, jolly atmosphere there. Go, and tell Anthony Mike from Canada sent you.

I'm a regular customer and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Antony is very welcoming. Always have a good chat with him while getting my hair cut. Usually get seen quickly and can definitely recommend this place if you need a trim at a decent price.
