Plym Yacht Club

A fabulous yacht club on the bank of the river Plym. The clubhouse is great and decorated in a nautical theme.A lovely reasonably priced bar and terrific food available after club race events when the atmosphere is buzzing with a good crowd of sailors exchanging notes on the race and debating rules.The club has a thriving yacht membership for both racing and cruising with a packed program for its members and even members of other clubs every year.The Plym YC Cadets group, which is always fully subscribed, meet once a week for most of the year and have great evenings out on the river after school on Tuesdays. They learn to sail in dinghies and many become very accomplished sailors.This is a must go to club for any visiting Yachts and sailors.

Super friendly, saw we were out on the boats with the family, and although we're non members they invited us in to use the loo. Lovely clean place, nice and friendly.

Great sailing club and extremely friendly members with cadet sailing and training and great summer Friday evening racing.
