Vets4Pets - Hamilton

Hi guys -I was the guy who came in with the dog that had a tick on 12/6/2023. Up here working from Newcastle. You sorted it instantly -reception lass n the vet-superb. Difference between me worrying for 72 hours and not worrying at all. Thanks for your excellent service-Andy n Pepper the staffie!!

Staff were brilliant, was nervous coming in with an ill XL bully. They were absolutely amazing with him and he let them prod away and was an amazing boy. Only downside was if you think the dog will have to stay over night they don’t have over night facilities so dog had to go to rspca for further tests and stay but still so glad I made the appointment the help was second to none and the main priority was the dog throughout. Couldn’t recommend enough, only place to take my appointment straight away offering an appointment in half an hour. I also sadly had a hamster that past away last year and they sent us a card with his footprints and a lovely message inside. They definitely care for the animals and the girls that work there are amazing. You get a lot of bad press but I’ve never had an issue.

Absolutely appalling vets who do not care about animals.Prices hugely inflated in comparison to most other local vets.Left my very sick cat who was unable to eat with no medication and expected me to wait 10 days for her to be seen again. Fortunately we were able to find an alternative local vet who were able to get the cat registered and seen long before this and we were able to obtain medication which helped her to eat. Why did Vets4Pets not offer to do this?One of the staff members is completely rude (Nikki I think her name is). Lied to my face to pretend I was getting a quicker appointment then proceeded to call me a liar when I challenged the later appointment the receptionist tried to give me.The receptionists were heard by me discussing the fact that this vet practice is taking on far more customers than they are able to handle (hence the long wait for certain appointments).The manager is just as bad. She called me to claim I had upset her staff by shouting at them (even though this was completely untrue. I had maybe slightly raised my voice as I was worried for the welfare of my cat). She effectively told me we were no longer welcome at this vet. However, then backtracked after speaking to her staff. They actually completely understood why I was annoyed. By that time we had already found a more reputable vet and moved to them. The manager then had the audacity to ask how my cat was on the call (despite showing no care for her condition while she was registered at that vet).Vets4pets continue to harass me with mail despite no longer being registered there. They should have all of my details removed from their system.

Everyone at this vet is so lovely! They took such good care of my cat whilst he was in for his surgery, and when I came to collect them the vet explained everything they had done and why, made sure I was happy with everything, and gave me lots of details about his aftercare, and anything to look out for anything during the healing process. You can tell that the people that work at this vet truly care about every animal that comes in to see them, and are always really kind a reassuring if you have any worries.

Best place for any animals. Staff is great and friendly. We are grooming, doctor and get supplies for our doodle here and it's always a pleasure.

Had to visit on Monday 13/02/23 as my dog had two seizures through the night, we were in the vets for it opening an were seen within minutes of arrival, treated by Julie Innes who reassured us throughout the visit, our dog was admitted there and then, spent the day as a patient. Nothing was too much trouble for them even when I was calling for an update. Ruby was also treated well which put our minds at ease also. Will be recommending this service for sure

Felt very at ease as did Angus. Love the availability of the lift, as someone who has mobility issues this is invaluable to me. The fact that it is so easy to access and use without having to get a staff member or wait for someone to get a key or give access is perfect.

Always pets are treated with total respect and fussed over love coming here always looked after and staff are so happy and polite

The staff were unorganised and had a habit of not telling me i was due to pay them anything then phoning me up 1hr later to say i owed them money for nothing. I wont be back and wouldnt recommend them

The staff are extremely friendly, and genuinely care about your pet. My dog is very excitable and they honestly are amazing at settling him. He doesn't mind going to the vet.
