Caledonian Stadium

I have been to see the Caley Jags a couple of times now. Very family friendly. Easy to access and get away after the match. Good atmosphere and worth a visit to support the local team.

Went to see Andrea Bocelli. He was brilliant. The stadium though was terrible! The way they had put the chairs on the pitch was crazy. Instead of a semi-circle round the stage, they did straight lines. Which meant we didn't have a direct view of the stage. Instead a screen was there to show the event. The food/drink stalls were useless and eye-watering expensive. The worse bit was that they had banned traffic from anywhere near the venue. We had to walk for what seemed miles. Took us about an hour. One of our party had asthma and needed a hip replacement, it was terrible for her to walk that far. We saw plenty of people struggling with walking sticks etc. Terrible!

Rubbish football stadium but an awesome place for a gig. Sound system was brilliant as was the atmosphere was amazing

Went to see Duran Duran in concert, it was a fantastic evening despite the weather, but still very much worth it. It's not the biggest stadium in Scotland, but it felt much more personal because of it. The facilities provided were very stretched, but more to do with the organisers rather than the football club or its staff. We paid for premium seats, but there was no difference in the quality and spacing than the many cheaper seats behind and we were still quite far away from the front. Lots of people from behind moved nearer to the stage than us whilst the band was playing, so we felt like others that we paid too much for our seats.

Really nice stadium with friendly staff and good ladies toilets but expensive parking and nothing for vegans in the pie hut.

We went the Bocelli concert and our seats were terrible, we were seated on the pitch and we couldn't see very well and then the rain came on. The bar was totally undermanned and the security was terrible. But Bocelli was amazing.

Visited here to see Duran Duran in concert. Despite the rain had a lovely time. Walked from the city centre to the stadium which takes half an hour along a well signposted path. I’d suggest wrapping up warm as its location right by the river will mean the cold breezes will easily come in!
