Van had diagnostic warning light when I collected it Thursday 4.30 pm. I immediately told them before driving away, they said just a dodgy sensor....I then drove it five miles and a second warning came on about oil level too high....I phoned Anker and got no answer, left numerous messages and no-one called me back. Since then numerous warning lights came on, including warning about side door being open (I hadn't ever had it open).All frightening whilst driving on a motorway! Handed keys back this morning, told him again about all the warnings and got a rude reply basically saying it did the job didn't it? To be fair to Anker, however, they had gone out of their way to find a van for me at short notice, for which I was grateful.

EDIT!!!!after leaving the review below I received a phone call while working, the guy precoded to argue with me asking me why I left this review, he insisted it was because I didn't want to pay the extra cost,I have double checked the MOT requirements, an engine warning light, no washer fluid and worn tyres are an MOT failure. I had a transit connect which failed its MOT on tyres that were in better condition because they were worn on the inside, these tyres were warn on both side and it was both front tyresI have video footage of the vehicles tyres and when the vehicle rolled back even though the parking break was on.In the end I just hung up, I have no idea what he was trying to achieve apart from venting his anger towards me? there was no reassurance that the vehicle would be checked, or apology. which is really all I wanted.One more thing I have to add is he compared my mere 5 reviews to his hundreds, what that has to do with anything I don't know???hire a van as I was desperate, I usually go with enterprise but it was short notice. I didn't expect a lot, was surprised when they brought out the Veto, quite a large van for the price, but that's the last of the positives, The' tyres were illegal, there was no wiper fluid, the parking break was dodgy (rolled back a couple of times (A LOT!!)) I don't expect a lot, but the van was filthy inside, really wanted to take it to the guys to wash, but time was something I didn't have.In fairness he did say they would either swap the van or the tyres, but alas I was not in Tamworth and didn't have time, the van should NOT have been let out like that, he got stroppy and said it was in the terms and services

After being stuck in Tamworth on a Bank Holiday with a punctured tyre and no hope of repair or replacement these guys came to the rescue. Excellent car hired at a very reasonable price and got us back on the road again. Excellent service, many thanks

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Anker Vehicle Hire. Hired a small van over the new year bank holiday period. John really went the extra mile, excellent customer service from our initial chat to the hire and return of the van. The vehicle was clean, nearly new and very good to drive. Very reasonable price for such a great vehicle and excellent customer service. Will definitely use again. Thank-you!
