Fantastic experience from an excellent local firm. Highly recommend.Derek's Homebuyer Level 3 survey was thorough but also clear. Lots of surveys just throw loads of info at you and let you fend for yourself but it had a v clear summary written in understandable plain English, and plenty of photos. We then asked for some followup work, which Derek helped with for a very reasonable cost. I had followup questions which Derek took the time to talk me through on the phone. Overall excellent experience.

Brilliant service from Derek from the very beginning. I booked Derek for a Building Survey after hearing and reading lots of good things about him. He was very thorough in his approach, took plenty of photographs to support the report and took the time to talk me through his findings and any concerns I should be aware of. Very knowledgeable and humble gentleman, would definitely recommend Derek to anyone that requires a survey. If I ever need a survey again in the future, I wouldn’t look any further! I had a level 3 completed for a property in Pinner and chose redwing as I thought their local knowledge may be valuable. The service was prompt and the survey very detailed and thorough - exactly what we were looking for. Derek kept us informed about progress, while not being overbearing, and I have to say stress free and well done throughout. Derek provided a superb level 3 survey report for our house, which was commended by our solicitor as being of extremely good quality. Derek was flexible with dates and provided an inspection very promptly. His report was thorough, informative and provided valuable and practical recommendations. Derek carried out a level 2 survey of the house we recently purchased. It was comprehensive and in depth, and Derek was happy to discuss the findings with us on the phone several times afterwards. I highly recommend him.

Used Redwing as found them to have a very competitive price compared to others. Reviews seemed good too.Property was purchased during covid and so constant/regular viewings were difficult.Redwing came and gave a 75 page survey (mostly images) which was detailed. Turnaround was quick.Some points on the survey were exaggerated (probably covering his own back), some points were easily justified by the vendor, which Redwing did not question them. I was happy with the survey until I moved in and found some damp which has been very bad - with damp moisture in the air, uneven flooring, even woodlice coming into the property. I took this up with the complaints procedure which was more or less 'fobbed off'. Will take this up further and make sure I keep at it until it is sorted.

Derek had provided very fabulous & detailed Level 3 report. He made us aware about potential cost and points to be aware which cleared so many doubts we had. Derek was competitive with price, responds quickly to enquiries and booked me in quick. I had to push the date out twice and Derek was very understanding. His report is very detailed and includes lot of pictures. Would 100% recommend Derek to carry out your Surveying.

I recently used Redwing to do a L3 Structural survey for a house in Ickenham. This is by far the best report I have seen (I have had a number of them done on investment properties). It was clear, detailed, and any questions I had, Derek went through with me. There are some reviews here that I can see did not appreciate Dereks additional advice on the property as a whole, but this is exactly what is hard to find with other surveyors. On top of this, I think the price was competitive, and ultimately good value for the service provided. I cannot rate this service enough and highly recommend Derek and therefore, Redwing.Thank you again.Ravi

We recently used Derek for a level 3 home survey. The price was competitive, the survey was booked in swiftly, the report provided a couple of days after the survey was completed and it was all laid out in a way that was very easy to understand and highlighted the key issues for consideration (including lots of photographs).
