Redpath Tyres

Such a shame to have to write this given that I came to this company because of the good reviews! I have already complained to them and no reply is forthcoming. So made an appointment to go on Friday the 19th of August for tracking and wheel balancing and possible replacement tyres.. On arrival it was established that two new tyres would be needed and mine are apparently unusual I have a ds4. The manager said I could return in the afternoon or Saturday morning at 9am, I arrived at 9am fir the work to be done a lady who was looking after the depot confirmed no tyres on site. I asked why I had been told they would be there and she was unable to explain. She reassured me that they would be in on Monday and the work would be done on Monday. I received a call on Monday to say the tyres had arrived and I needed to make an appointment fir Tuesday! I said I was assured Monday was the day so after some discussion they fitted me in.So the issue is a wasted journey on the Saturday, lack of communication and the cost to me in time and fuel. I can now not recommend this company to you.

Today I had tires fitted to my vintage 1978 Honda motorcycle. The tires were fitted to loose wheels, the fitting of the tires seems fine. But the state of my rims is really sad to see, there are deep scratches and scrapes in the rims and slight dents on the front and back, very similar to each other, and no care was taken. These are the original wheels and I have kept them in the best condition possible, I haven't experienced such poor service before. The manager walked out earlier in the day so I couldn't even raise my complaint with management. I should have known not to take such valuable wheels to a chain garage but it was organized through a local trusted garage. Very disappointed!
