Bill was an absolute fantastic driving instructor, allowing me to pass my test first time! All nerves were eased when I met Bill, his encouraging nature felt like driving with a friend you always had supporting you, whilst also giving out great advice and constructive feedback - Bill truly was the perfect instructor. lesson by lesson seeing and feeling improvements. I always felt supported and assured during the lessons and am grateful to have had Bill as my instructor. Thank you very much mate appreciate the excellent service you provided.

Learning to drive with Bill has been an absolute pleasure, whenever I was on a lesson, he had the ability to implement a great deal of confidence in my driving and reinforced that I had the skills to deal with any situation. He is adaptable and reliable in all aspects whether it be timings of lesson to people's level of skills. He always kept a calm and professional attitude which helps with composure while driving, giving educative tips and advice from years of experience.I couldn’t have picked a better instructor and would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn!

After learning with other driving instructors in the past and not feeling much improvement, Bill almost instantly built up my confidence and really helped me understand driving. I got to grips with his teaching methods almost straight away. He has the patience’s of a saint, very easy going, even easier to talk to and really knows his stuff. Learning with Bill was a pleasure he made it easy and stress free. I passed first time with just one minor! Highly recommend!

Bill has been a truly excellent driving instructor. I was initially very nervous and anxious when learning to drive but Bill instantly put me at ease. He was extremely patient and he is very knowledgeable and very down to earth and friendly.When it was getting closer to my test Bill was excellent at boosting my confidence about me being able to pass and even when I was doubting myself he gave me the pep talk that i needed to settle my nerves and doubts.When I passed first time it was all thanks to Bill’s excellent tuition.If you are looking to learn to drive I would highly recommend Bill as your driving instructor. I would definitely recommend Carlisle Driver Training, especially for nervous drivers. Before starting lessons, I had never even been behind the wheel of a car. Bill's teaching style is excellent; he is very encouraging and provides honest, constructive, and sensitively delivered feedback. Additionally, he is very (very, very...) patient. Bill is extremely knowledgeable and ensures that his students become competent and confident drivers in real-world situations, not just to pass their tests. It's been a pleasure learning to drive with Bill and lessons are always a laugh.

Can’t recommend Bill enough, he’s a fantastic driving instructor, he makes you feel at ease from the first lesson and clearly explains and teaches everything you need to get through your test. His teaching methods can accommodate anyone from experienced learners to total beginners, definitely the best instructor in Carlisle! PS: He has an amazing beard and he smells nice

Highly recommend!I would recommend Carlisle Driver Training to anybody wishing to learn to drive. I had never been in the driving seat of a car before and had no idea where to start. Bill was recommended by a friend and a family member. He is friendly, patient, reliable and flexible. He has great communication and upon me changing my working hours several times throughout my time learning with Bill, he adapted my lesson days and times without hesitation to suits my needs. I was very pleased to pass my test first time thanks to Bill.

Bill is a great instructor. He does his best to book lessons around work/eduction and is 100% reliable. While on lessons he’s patient and has great teaching techniques and lessons are always well planned. he’s very professional but also has great banter so lessons are always chill and never boring.Considering all the current covid procedures in place he’s following all the rules to make lessons as safe as possible.If you’re looking for a driving instructor Bill is your guy!
