The Primrose Surgery

I've had extreme back pain for the past week that was getting worse everyday so i called 111 and they couldn't do anything unless I was dying, ive not seen my gp or spoken since pre covid. Although it did take awhile for my called to be answered the gentleman told me that theybwill calk back Dr ahmad called back personally and was warm and helpful and prescribed me painkillers to pick up from my local pharmacy straight away. Horrible staff especially Claire lord. She is bully, rude and ill mannered. I just want to know my test results and she shouted at me for no reason.Which gave me panic attack while I was already suffering from migraines.At an other occasion I was waiting for my appointment in surgery, she came from the back and instead of calling my name, hit me on shoulder with her hand. That's how she call her patients,while people are waiting out side the surgery for hours, because of social distancing and staff sitting inside with lock doors and chatting.She should learn some manners.Receptionists duty is to listen and help accordingly, but she is there to bully them.Claire lord is a threat to vulnerable people's safety because of her bully behaviour.Every other person complaining about her. She shouldn't be working there.Manager should take action to sort out this isue.Its been 11years I'm registered with Primrose surgery. Old staff was very good and professional but now Only Dr Ahmed is good. He listen to you patiently and do his best to help you.

I have nothing but praise for the service at Primrose.I’ve been going here for a long time and my main GP is Dr Ahmed, as I have complex health issues I try to always speak to him however the others are nice too if I can’t get to him, I always get helped, I use the system one online and can always get an appointment, in fact on instances same day and I request my medications on their which are sent to the chemist the same day.ThankYou to everyone who helps me.

You would probably die before getting your phone call answered.You’ll be number 1 in the call cue forever.When they do answer they are fully booked, never heard a compliment about this surgery. They are fully booked within the first half an hour of the surgery opening so don’t bother wasting your time.

Tried to call the surgery every day at 8am since Wednesday last week. Every time I call it’s been busy I have to try up to 20 times + to get through and when I do I get told “oh we are fully booked call back for a cancellation” I work so it’s difficult to call back. this surgery needs to sort it’s appointment process out. I may think of removing my family and my self from this surgery. Disgraceful

I was in lot of pain in my stomach the doctor told me to drop a urine sample which I went to primrose doctors surgery to drop a urinre sample offThey have lost the urine sample when the doctor knew how much pain I was in for the last week l.On my online medical app the doctor put down I've never came to drop any sample of urine

Had a routine bloods and bp test with Claire Lord. After reading recent reviews, I was abit nervous, especially since I haven't been to the doctors in years. As I arrived early, I was called in earlier and receptionist was polite and mentioned where the hand sanitiser was. Claire was lovely and the appointment was quick and painless. She answered my questions about results. Only critique would be felt the appointment was a little too quick but I guess it's routine and they have lots of other patients to get through for bloods etc.

This surgery is atrocious! I ordered my medication on the 16th, and the clinician has not even signed off on it! I've been without my medication for days now!. The receptionist have an attitude problem on top of that. I started ordering my medication on the app because when i would ring to order it they would mess it up but looks like it doesnt matter how i order the medication i will never get the medication on time!.

Dr Ahmed a credit to primrose, amazing gp, very knowledgeable, patient & understanding. I hope he is aware how much the community speaks very highly of him.
