We had the severe misfortune of being involved with AdKirk Law as part of our House Purchase, as they were the solicitor used by the seller on the other end.The solicitors we dealt with, who I won’t name out of respect though I am unsure they are deserving of any, never once showed a shred of professionalism. We had little to no communication from them throughout a large amount of the process, with us, the seller, and the estate agent all kept in the dark for months on the progress of the sale.There were multiple instances of being told we would be given an update “today” only to have that day go without a word. We had one instance of the primary solicitor involved in our case going on holiday with no warning, and when asked whether we could speak with anyone else at the firm for updates during those days, were told that as it was only two days nothing would be done and we would wait; this was weeks on from the intended completion date. We then came to the point of exchange, only to be told it would be done the morning of the next day, to again have that morning come and go, with another 2 days where no one could get a hold of anyone at the firm.AdKirk took all of the joy and excitement out of what should have been a big moment in my and my partner’s lives, to the point that we almost pulled out completely as the money we would have lost would not be worth the pain they had caused. The attitude we saw from them in the little correspondence we saw was shameful, and I am sorry to see from other reviews on here that many others have been similarly affected in recent months.Please, do yourself and anyone else concerned in your sale or purchase a favour and avoid this firm at all costs.

Literally cannot believe the level of unprofessionalism! So rude, refuse to call back, when pulled up on it they actually lied to us saying that we never requested a phone call. When we tried to call we got the response 'I'm too busy to talk to you, I'll call you back later' word for word.My advice to you would be to steer clear, plenty of other firms which have polite people that are open and willing to help- even when they are busy.

Very efficient and professional service from Kelly Becconsall who over saw the sale of my home. She even took time on her day off to confirm everything was going through as planned and followed up quickly on any query. Overall very good value for money and I would highly recommend this company
