Duncan and Todd Opticians and Hearing Care - Dyce

I visited Duncan &Todd opticians centre in Dyce yesterday for an initial client appointment with an enhanced eye care test. This was my first visit as a new client, I felt welcomed, informed and the optician I saw was incredibly knowledgeable. She was also patient and explained everything clearly including the OCT results. I was impressed with the experience from start to finish and would highly recommend the Duncan & Todd Dyce optician centre.

Extremely friendly and knowledgable staff. Very patient and took the time to explain things and answer all of my questions. Very reasonable cost for a state-of-the-art exam. Best optician visit I have ever had.

I called here looking for an eye test appointment, they said they could offer me one in 2 or 3 weeks, but when I explained the circumstances, they offered me an appointment within the hour.Was treated well from all the staff and will make this my go to optician from now on.

Kirsty did a really thorough eye test and explained everything really well. I didn't have time to choose glasses on the same day but look forward to going back in to do so. Will definitely recommend.

2nd bad experience with this branch this year, 1st time they lost my glasses which was left for minor repair, eventually agreed to replace them, some weeks later the fixed pair was found in a drawer. The replacement pair was left with the branch 17th October, I chased the up 15th Nov, still not repaired, 29th Nov legs came in but had to be sent to the lab in Dyce to be fixed, chased up again 6th Dec to be told they were due out 7th Dec got text & email on the 8th Dec to say they were ready. Collected and fitted 9th December. I am due eye test in January, I won't be coming to Duncan and Todd again, will find somewhere that will give better customer service and take ownership if a problem comes up.

Having made an appointment I was then sent a very handy text and email reminder as well as a confirmation phone call the day before. I received a very warm welcome from a friendly happy receptionist and all the personnel were very professional and helpful. Kathryan the optician put me at ease and explained everything well and carried out a thorough examination. The shop itself was clean, tidy and well presented.

Couldn't asked for a better person than Denise. Hope I get her next year! Receptionist very friendly too.
