We were really impressed with our visit lunch time today. .The pub was warm and cozy and we received a really warm welcome from Debbie, Lisa and KatieFood was top notch too .We are looking forward to returning very soon .

Checking in shouldn’t have been problem as I had Booking Conformation on my phone which was on show still was asked when did I book ??Not friendly or welcomingShown 2 Table Menu given Drinks arrived Quicklyordered Starters Waited 40 Minutes for Hard bread & olive Oil not edible Garlic Mushrooms coldMains ,Gammon OK Salmon Reasonable, potatoes Disgusting other meal same after waiting again 0ver 30 MinutesManager didn’t charge for One starter no Apologies Cleared plates with out a wordRestaurant wasn’t busy and we weren’t told of any delaysEvery Christmas for over 40 years we’ve frequented “”Running Horse “”Because of the Good food warmth & Welcoming AtmosphereNever again

Me and my family came here for a meal on Thursday we were served by the very polite waitresses, Katie and Charlotte. I had the garlic mushrooms and mixed grill which werereally lovely, my husband had from the festive menu which also looked and tasted delicious. This pub is beautiful with great staff and a warm friendly atmosphere, we definitely recommend and will be back soon!

Stopped in for a late lunch. Had a couple of burgers fish and a kids roast. Decor was fairly stabdard chain pub though tables were sticky. Burgers were both over cooked way too much char/burn. signature burger was not good, bacon and cheese the bacon was obliterated. Fish n chips was good and roast was also good though again veg was blackened. Paying took significant amount of time only one staff and a manager on on a sunday evening seems poor numerous people walked out and several voiced complaints. Gk ipa was also pretty bland but maybe should have gone for something else but didnt see any othe guest beers. Also numerous food items were out, peas...., camabert, apple tart. Noticed several pies sent back with very little eaten on them. All in all not good and theres several other pubs along the same road. Staff on the upside were good and apologetic and even had to give directions to another pub!

Come here regularly, lovely food and staff. Came this weekend and had an amazing Sunday dinner, followed up by the brownie which was also delicious. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to all our friends and family!

A nice time at the Running Horse last night. The food was good, and the drinks were good too…loses a star for being slightly overpriced and not having the arancini! Unfortunately also ran out of captain Morgan’s spiced rum…Atmosphere was lovely, just a shame there wasn’t any table service outside.

Went there for a meal for my grandma's birthday and was greeted by amazing staff, beautiful service and nice atmosphere with music, sure sometimes the music doesn't match the building but there is always a song on for everyone, definitely will be coming back and do recommend to anyone who wants a nice meal out. Food is reasonably priced in the current economy, for 6 of us it came to £137.65 for meal, drinks and dessert

Lovely looking building. Very slow service, 45 minute wait for food. Had to keep asking to place our order, and the waitress was rather abrupt and said someone will be with you soon. Lasagne was over cooked to the point of being hard in places.salad was just a few rocket leaves. Disappointing. Fish and chips were nice. Expensive for what we had.

We had been doing some walking locally in Wyre Forest and decided to go for a meal, we had seen this pub on way so I initially tried to book a table whilst out and about - no luck, it kept telling me that the table I had chosen had just been got by someone else. After trying different times for about 10 mins I gave up and thought we would take a chance and pop in on way past. We got there and we really shouldn't have worried, loads of space! No idea what the website was doing.. !We ordered food fairly swiftly and it didn't take overly long for food to come out. A couple of the meals were a bit larger than expected, which with a growing apetite I think was a welcome surprise. Food quality was generally OK and service was OK too, although considering the lack of people in the pub it did on occasion take a bit of time to grab attention for another drink, or to get more sauce for kids etc.I think we were all happy to have stopped by for food and a drink, so it all worked out well in the end! Kids also got to have a short go on the play area at the back - but it was only a small area!
