We booked a table in Harrogate for seven people and before we ordered a guest asked for two separate bills and the waiter refused. We were shocked and thought that we could ask another waiter or manager instead because we've never had any issues at any other restaurant when requesting separate bills. At the end of the meal a guest asked the Italian older waiter who seemed very friendly for 2 separate bills and he replied in a rude manner: I'm too busy!! Really unprofessional!! This has never happened to us! We are in shock, so if you are a large party make sure you ask the manager if you are paying separately and not the waiters. The food was good but we had to ask for water and some bread. Further, we were never asked if we wanted coffee or tea. We were just given the over £300 bill. We were not impressed with the service; on the contrary we were extremely upset; we've visited the Harrogate restaurant before and had no problems. So, I don't understand what happened!?

We had booked a table for 4 people. On arrival we were advised that our table would be ready in 5 minutes and asked to have a drink at the bar, whilst they prepared our table. We ordered drinks and asked that one of the cocktails was made without sugar, but arrived with sugar added. We also ordered a glass of champagne, which was not chilled nearly enough. When I returned it the glass was handed to multiple people for their opinion and following several shrugs, was told that it was acceptable…. I flatly refused to accept the drink and left it with them. Eventually another was delivered to our table.30 minutes later, we still had not been shown to our table, so had to chase and eventually shown to a completely different table that had been indicated previously.The two fish dishes were significantly overcooked, but the two lasagnas were ok.Lucia’s is a large restaurant that could be good, but I think needs to review the overall quality of their offering and raise standards accordingly.Not sure I’d come again.

Food was amazing and the service was so quick and friendly! We had the set menu - 2 courses for £22 which was really good value and after seeing a few desserts walk on by during the main course we couldn't help but go for dessert too. Everything was great I would love to go back.

My wife and I took a risk on this place as we had found ourselves at a loose end for where to eat.It was well worth it.My wife has an allergy, and when this was mentioned, the dining manager came over to us with the allergens book to use alongside the menu to assist with ordering.We experienced a warm welcome and attentive service throughout.The food was well presented and cooked to perfection.Highly recommend.

Restaurant was fully booked, obviously very popular, but they found me a table. Thanks.Beautiful restaurant, friendly attentive staff and the food was delicious.Try the monkfish tagliatelle.

Really fantastic food. Wife had the duck, I had lasagna. A few beers, wines. Incredibly attentive service. Not cheap. Not expensive. Value for the money we’d say and thoroughly recommend a visit.
