OCL Vision

Incredibly happy with my recent LASIK surgery with OCL. Just had my 3 month check up and I am now 20:10 vision (couple of steps better than 20:20) in both eyes! Wish I'd had the courage to do this years ago as the surgery really is life changing.I had consultations with a few other practices but OCL really stood out to me based on the professionalism of everyone I met and the level of detail they went through in pre-surgery examinations. It felt like they really wanted to assess whether the surgery was right for me rather than getting me to sign asap. My surgeon even called me a few days before the surgery to talk through the procedure in more detail as I was quite nervous about it.Overall a 5* experience on all accounts - thank you Ali Meazra & team!

Absolutely brilliant experiment. Having worn glasses for over 40 years id always wanted to get laser surgery. All the appointments made me feel at ease. All the team were super helpful and accommodating. The surgery itself went really well and recovery too.It’s been near 3 months now and I haven’t looked back! Would highly recommend the service and also a huge shout out for Mr Ali who looked after me. Cannot be more thankful for how well I was taken care off ❤️❤️❤️

I can't recommend Mr Barsam more highly, he gave me perfect vision! He performed the procedure of removing cataract in both my eyes, at the same sitting. The result was simply amazing, I had perfect sight instantly. Having worn contact lenses for over 58 years it felt like a miracle! No discomfort, just simple amazement, as the colours around me took on the exquisite hue, that had been unattainable, before. All I can say is a very sincere 'Thank You'

Would highly recommend OCL vision to anyone considering laser eye surgery. Could not have asked for a more comfortable experience and friendly staff. I received LASIK surgery carried out by Masara Laginaf who was highly professional, reassuring throughout the whole process and excellent at her job. Just one day after the procedure and I have 20/20 vision with almost no sign that anything was done to my eyes. Worth every penny.

Superb - I’ve longed to be free of needing power lenses for distance vision after 23 years and Allon has now made this my reality. Now in the recovery phase but already amazed at my new vision. I was very nervous in the days leading up to the procedure, but no question or concern is too much trouble. I was kept calm during the procedure and had a glowing report from OCL’s optician the following day. I feel reassured knowing I will be looked after by the OCL team through out the recovery phase and beyond. All the OCL staff I dealt with during the procedure were very kind. I would throughly recommend OCL and Allon for the SmartSight procedure. If you’re eligible for Smile instead of LASIK, get it done here - only place in the UK that offers this most advanced corrective treatment for myopia.

My experience at OCL vision has been great and I will be recommending to family and friends. I had bilateral ICL surgery for both eyes on 24/07/2023 with Masara. I cannot put into words how much this surgery has changed my life. As having a high short-sighted prescription and contact lens intolerant eyes, I can now see without glasses for the first time in 20 years. My consultant, Masara, is one of the most kindest doctors I have ever been treated by. Her professionalism and time taken to explain things was invaluable. I felt confident with the team at OCL Vision from the start and they continue to support with any problems post-surgery. If you are like me and struggling for a solution to dry eye and not being able to wear lenses this is the place to go. I cannot put into words how much this has changed my life. A massive thank you for improving my quality of life.

I had two consultations for LASIK surgery in 2021 and 2023 with Ali Mearza. Although I ultimately elected to postpone the surgery for personal reasons, I was extremely impressed by the whole experience and my treatment at OCL Vision. The practice is very much surgeon-led (as they say) and with state of the art equipment and excellent facilities throughout. All staff were very professional and helpful.Most important for me was the fact that I always felt Ali Mearza and OCL Vision really treated me as an individual patient. There was no pressure or sales tactics - just seeking the best outcome for the patient.LASIK is something I am still considering for the future and I wouldn't go anywhere else for the procedure, after my experience so far. I would like to thank OCL vision, I needed a B Scan urgently as requested by surgeon as I will be having surgery in a couple days. Luckily I was able to book as soon as with an appointment just before the day of my surgery, with the help of Suheyla, who made the process very fast and comfortable. I would like to thank Marie Restori for making the procedure very smooth and she also made me feel very comfortable as well. Would recommend.

I had a wonderful experience here! Easy to make an appointment, lovely staff, and quick and easy assessment. Mr Barsam is so friendly. His knowledge, experience and confidence are so reassuring. It was so easy to arrange a date for surgery and they could do it so soon after my assessment! The surgery itself was so quick and easy, and for me was painless and uncomplicated. Staff were such a pleasure to interact with, it made the whole process so comfortable. Financing options make the cost more easily affordable. I recommend to all!

I had my lasik surgery on both eyes in September with Mr Allon Barsam.The whole experience has been great from  the first visit until the surgery and follow ups.
