UniPad Luxury Student Accommodation Lancaster.

I have lived with UniPad for 2 years and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! The houses are gorgeous with modern furniture and the landlords put a lot of effort into making each house a home. UniPad were always on hand 24 hours, 7 days a week when we needed them and fixed any issues straight away!

Staying at uni pad was such a splendid experience. From the get go walking through the gates felt so secure. The courtyard was attained well and made me feel so safe as a student moving from a different city, having the sense of security was essential.The rooms were well maintained and furnished to a very high standard. The studio I stayed at was definitely such well sized and so beautiful. It felt luxurious even as a student.The staff were always available whenever I needed help, the neighbours were respectful and very friendly.I was so glad to have complimentary cleaners too! After a long day of work/ uni it was nice to come home to a fresh and clean atmosphere.Overall a very nice experience. Would recommend.

Unipad is a very nice place to live! The flats are very safe with lots of CCTV and a gate to prevent non-residents getting in. The appliances and technology is up to date, nice furniture and facilities.The flats are right next to town and less than 2 minutes away from the bus station and supermarket too.Glad to be staying here for another year!Not to mention how helpful management are and quick responding too!

I lived in unipad (Rhodes house) during the academic year of 2020-2021. And yes, I am writing this review this late because I just cannot get over how traumatic my experience was and I just needed to warn others as well. The only good things about this accommodation is the location and the very kind cleaners. However everyone else in this company is just taking advantage of students. Some issues included damp problems, problems with the washing machine, lack of fridge space, lack of enough electricity allowance and most importantly - the way we were treated in general. Also for any future tenants - take pictures of EVERYTHING at the start of your tenancy. The landlord tried to make us pay for a whole sofa that had a coin-sized burn mark on it. Luckily I had notices this when moving in and took a picture, which I showed them as proof that we were not responsible for it. Unfortunately I wasn’t so lucky with noticing and taking pictures of other small marks around which of course at the end I was blamed about. They will find any sort of way to take that money and deposit off of you!I basically agree with all the 1 star reviews on here and it’s funny how defensive the company gets and tries to make you seem like a fake person or a competitor.!!!Take the 5 star reviews with a grain of salt because the company offers money to each tenant who leaves them a 5 star review - and of course, us poor students do fall for bribes like that sometimes when we are short on money. Save yourself the money and the headaches and don’t live here. It might seem very pretty and luxurious but once you live there it’s cold and just not homely and cosy. Especially living on the basement floor in Rhodes house felt like being in a prison since almost no daylight was coming in.Everything on here is my opinion and my experience only. You might have a good experience but you’ve been warned :) Wanted to put that out since I don’t wanna risk getting sued :)

It is a lovely place to live, with its great location, luxury interior and helpful staffs.The living room is absolutely spacious and perfectly integrating the fridge and the dish washer. Wall hanging TVs in each room is also a big plus! The complimentary cleaning every months also save us a lot of effort from maintaining our flat.

The best student accommodation in Lancaster by far! Amazing prices and outstanding customer service, any time there is a maintenance issue or a concern it gets dealt with right away and they are always there 24/7. I feel very safe living here, there is CCTV everywhere and all doors are secured by a pin code. The flats are very modern, well maintained and clean! 10/10 definitely recommend to anyone that is considering living with Unipad.

It’s all just aestheticsI think my title was the most fitting way to describe this property. All I can say is i and my flatmates wished we were warned before signing onto this contract. I would not wish anyone to live here. The landlords charge a lot and are looking to take money. All we saw were good reviews, which is to be expected if the landlord incentivises you with money to do so.From the jump there were a lot of red flags. The property seemed so good during the viewing but on moving in, it was proven otherwise. Firstly in our viewing we were assured that this property would have a gym and we were also told that unlike some competitor accommodations at unipad we would not spend money on laundry as their were washing machines in the flats. However till this day, the gym is yet to be completed, the equipment actually seems to be sat in the designated ‘gym’ room collecting dust and as for the laundry facilities, the washing machine that had been once there was replaced with a dishwasher and we are now using a very sub par circuit laundry room, with machines that always break down. In prior accommodation I have not had so much of an issue with circuit, but at unipad you can expect to have a lot of maintenance issues with laundry facilities; many of the other residents can vouch for this shared frustration.Nevertheless let’s focus in on the specifics of the flat I lived in, Flat 2 Rhodes House.Do not get me wrong this is a lovely flat, with probably some of the best and most modern aesthetics you’ll get in a Lancaster student accommodation. But not all that glitters is gold. The headache that comes with living in this flat is not worth the aesthetics.Starting in my personal bedroom, throughout the year I faced the problem of damp and mould, often I would find damp on the sides of the cupboards and even to the extent of it forming on my clothes in the wardrobe. This was definitely not a comfortable living environment. On many occasions we were told to just wipe away the mould with mould and mildew remover and on some other occasions it was actually cleaned and painted over. But each time there seemed to be a return. It would’ve been appreciated if this problem could be dealt with at the root rather than resorting to short term solutions. This was not cause by my own actions, as my flatmates experienced the same issue.Secondly we shall move onto the living areas, also an area that faced dampness on the walls, you can’t seem to escape it. The fridge design was also not well thought out. In this 5 person flat you will also have to somehow share a 4 shelf fridge and a four shelf freezer, this just wasn’t a reasonable arrangement, and strangely the fridge and freezer doors do open onto the kitchen door, so please be careful of any little collisions.There are two showers but we basically used one Single bathroom for half the year as the first bathroom shower had a crack in it. That wasn’t attended to for weeks and got worse and worse to the point they’ve now removed it and charged us £800. The maintenance here is horrid.Don’t let me start on the energy billing and maintenance charges. You’d think the deposit was just for decoration. You will be charged extra every term for utilities and I mean in the hundreds.I’d write more but thinking about this place just makes me more and more frustrated. I have tried to be as amicable as possible in the past. I hope they are proud of everything that they’re doing. It shall reflect duly in their business.Contact me if you want to discuss or get some advice.And future tenants good luck, because you’ll need that and an emergency savings fund living here.

I have been with unipad for 2 years whilst being a student and they have been so accommodating. The properties are luxury student living and it makes living at university much easier. We are hoping to stay with unipad for a 3rd year because of how happy we have been with them! Thanks Unipad

Great location in the centre of Lancaster and fantastic property with modern rooms and fittings as well as a responsive maintenance and customer support team, Unipad have been great and I would definitely recommend them to any other students looking for luxury student housing

I’ve had a great experience with this accommodation service so far this year. Very nice interior design for a student house and they are always looking for ways to improve this as they have already fitted new furniture since we have stayed here - providing for a comfortable living. This, along with the responsive maintenance team and landlord being very friendly make us feel relaxed and knowing that if there’s an issue they’ll respond to it very quickly. Overall a great service that I would definitely recommend to other students looking for a new place to live.
