From the perspective of a tenant.A fitting example of why the rental industry should be regulated. As their tenant you are their cash-cow (at one point in correspondence they even admitted that their interests were with the landlord only - excellent!).However, it’s taking us almost 3 weeks past signing the deposit return agreement to actually receive it. Not an apology for the delay, nor an explanation. It’s money they owe and as such, they couldn’t care less.On the other hand, when they are pushing to get replacement tenants in, they will eagerly demand we get out of the house despite having Covid, a sick baby, no car, and me working from home, every week so they can get viewings and a new tenant sorted asap.In short: disrespectful, inert and unprofessional. Letting agents can be done excellently - it is possible. But SBK is definitely not that.

Additional note: I refer to misrepresentations being sent by Letting Staff at SHELDON BOSLEY Stratford upon Avon to the Deposit Protection Scheme in a blatant attempt to defraud ex tenant of deposit return.Eg attempting to blame tenant for damage to property when in fact tenant has time dated photos that show damage was present when property was handed over. I refer to over 100+ photos taken by tenant on the day he took over the property.Letting agents' fraudulent attempts such as these should be challenged, indeed I will be recommending to the tenant that they report this matter to both official channels but also all relevant professional bodies so SHELDON BOSLEY can be held accountable for their dubious actions.*******To all would be users of Sheldon Bosley Knight: AVOID this company*****

Claims of indirect discrimination pursuant to s.19 Equality Act 2010 and breaches of the Data Protection Act 2018 were upheld in Court.Sheldon Bosley Knight were ordered to pay substantial costs for matters relating to a tenancy application.Sheldon Bosley Knight have missed the deadline for payment as ordered by the Court and bailiffs have now been instructed.Landlords and Tenants proceed with caution.

This is from a tenants perspective. Property particulars did not match property. I have no idea how old the photos were. This was a higher end property but carpets worn . Dated en suite with rust marks. Paint peeling off pipes outside, faded decking. Garden had features missing. Agent viewing property with us showed disinterest and could not understand why I thought property was tired .Based our suitability to rent on a verbal referrence " which I was advised by our current landlord was actually due to his estate manager "gossiping "to staff at sbk. Highly unprofessional. To add insult to injury the home owner subsequently pulled out of deal so we lost a house to rent. Not only that but sbk have advised that they will not deal with us in the future. All this based on a old boys network "chat" . Highly ethical sheldon bosley knight. Oh and BTW because our landlord got wind that we were moving he then gave us 2 months notice to leave. Make your own mind up!"

Never written these reviews before but felt this one is so well deserved. I have been dealing with Jo Lee at the Stratford On Avon branch. A purchase for me, that turned out to be very drawn out and stressful. Throughout Jo has been very professional and supportive but more than that she has been extremely proactive, way beyond what I would expect. She has dealt with me and the vendor and our solicitors plus the Land Registry and kept everything afloat to very challenging timelines. I am sure without her my purchase would have fallen through. I would definitely recommend her to family and friends.
