Yes I know I don't eat Indian food but that never bothers me going to one, when the food came they forgot 2 dishes which my friends had ordered, mine came which should have been 1/2 roast chicken, salad, it came as chicken nuggets with gravy and a cold tomato on top, so then we asked about the drinks we had ordered, which again had been forgotten, yes this was a Saturday but it was no more than half full if that, my friends do not want to go back there,

DO NOT PLACE TAKEAWAY ORDER FROM SAGAR! Placed an order on their official website, as directed by their Google page. My money was taken, and an estimated order time given. After traveling to the restaurant, they notified me that they no longer use their own website - despite accepting my order. I was asked to wait 3-5 working days for a refund and pay again at sagars to receive the order I had already shelled out for. No indication of a mistake on their end, just an implicit expectation from them to pay another 47 pound. Horrible experience, and a terrible way to run a business.

First time here ,lovley place friendly service vast menu i ordered a lamb madras garlic rice and chapati it was excellent portion size excellent, only thing was the bowls the curry were served in a bit cheap looking! But food was lovely cint wait to go again!

An excellent choice for Indian cuisine and very good value. Visited Sagar on a Sunday evening and opted for the Sunday Buffet and it was excellent value at £12 per person. There was a choice of starters and mains and they all tasted really good, especially the lamb. Cobra lager and IPA on tap. Nice interior and attentive staff, really can't go wrong.

15 years since we last went to Sagar, but we will be back again soon, excellent food great service, the chutney tray was the best we have had, and the Currys outstanding, especially the Chicken Tikka Lussi. The Chips well we always get a portion on the table, to nibble at with the Nanns and Rice, they were real chips and excellent with it.

Excellent. Was hoping it was good after moving home. Out new local. Friendly staff, food was extremely tasty, light, not greasy. Will definitely go again.Poppadoms, 2 naan, onion bhaji, chicken garlic chat, chicken pakora, saag rice, lamb Rogan Josh, chicken tikka masala, 4 beers, £63.

We had a lovely meal here tonight at the Sagar. It was our first time following a recommendation the family. The restaurant reception area was lovely, clean and spacious where we had drinks and time to look through the menu and order. The dining area was just past the reception and was a lovely space to eat. The food arrived and we were generally all happy with the curries we had ordered, nice favours, nice chilli heat but the chicken tikka on one dish was dry, although very tastey. The saag rashum rice was delicious - worth a try if fancy a change from regular pilau. Chips were proper chunky chips aswell which is nice to see. The chapati and nanns were ok.

Amazing food lovely service except for drinks which took ages. Food is amazing only down side is I always pay the day later with Indian food. It’s been 5 days now and I dare not fart.
