Woodrup Cycles Leeds

I bought a Bianchi specialissima from Woodrups last August so have taken my time to leave a review. From entering the shop and talking to Tony my experience has been first class. Tony was very knowledgeable and gave me all the info I needed to make my decision. I was a little apprehensive about spending so much but after a year of ownership I am so glad I did. Had a little problem with the discs squealing but was sorted for me on the day I rang up. Would not hesitate to purchase another bike from Woodrups. Thanks so much guy's.

This place is a dream. I went there to get my brakes fixed and they sorted them out within the hour. They were really friendly, explained everything to me beforehand and were really reasonably priced. I'd had bad experiences with Edinburgh Bicycle Company a few months earlier where they hugely overcharged me, so coming here was such a relief. I also bought a helmet and the staff member was really attentive and spent a lot of time with me to help me find what I needed (which was great for someone who knows nothing about helmets). Can't recommend enough.

I went to Woodrup as I was looking to buy a new road bike.Very helpful, knowledgeable, fantastic and friendly staff.Great advice as we have done a few changes to the bike, getting it all set up in no time.Then I had a bike fit with TeeJay, knowledgeable and very passionate and before she did any measurements and changes to my bike she first went through the process / briefing of my cycling history / injuries and what are my expectations. She explained why I had problems with my lower back pain on long rides and climbing. Felt relaxed during the whole process, it was a great afternoon full of laughter and fun.I'm enjoying riding my new Bianchi in the right position now.I would like to thank you TeeJay for being so friendly and welcoming !I would absolutely recommend these guys to everyone !Bea ATC T-Rex

Great independent bike shop. Took my bike in for a mish mash of different issues, including needing a stuck bolt drilled out. All done and dusted in about 3 hours. Would definitely recommend.

I had a bike fitting and physiological assessment with TeeJay to address several underlying niggles. My cleats are now correct, saddle is bang on, and I know where to address my muscular imbalances. Great experience, something I'll repeat with any new bike

I had a bikefit with Teejay at Woodrup Cycles and she was brilliant!It was so interesting, thorough and caring. I really took a lot away from it.Teejay has such a broad view of what a bike fit is, encompassing all areas, and I liked that a lot.I already feel empowered to go out on my bike and ride more pain free.Teejay has specialised knowledge as a Bike fitter, a masseuse and a PT. This gives her a real holistic view of what's going on with your bike and most importantly... physiologically with your body. She's also a lovely person to spend a morning with. Book in, you won't regret it.An added bonus was getting a small tour of Woodrup workshop by Mr. Woodrup himself. Beautiful hand-built steel bikes!

Have been using Woodrup for years, ever since moving to Leeds. Never had bad service in 20 years - always get good advice and great service from the staff. They cater from very casual riders like myself through to professional riders with the latest gear. At the moment they are only allowing a limited number of customers in store at any one time, and masks are required.

Just fantastic!Had a mountain bike frame sent off for sand-blasting and spraying - slight issue with the initial paint job, which they immediately sent back for respraying, no complaints or arguing whatsoever!So good in fact, that I commissioned them to do a little resto-mod on one of their own 1974 (I think...) frames, that I had bought on eBay.Craig created a fantastic specification, blending the old frame with new Shimano 105 groupset, Hope components, as well as a couple of modifications to the frame itself.Great team and atmosphere - genuine artisans in their trade.Thanks again!
