I have always been really nervous when getting my hair treated because I have always felt like other stylists didn’t know how to style and colour my textured hair. But my goodness the service was amazing! I wanted red and it looks incredible! I was also shown how to style my type of hair and use the right products it was brilliant! Would defo recommend, it’s a friendly and welcoming salon x

I went to Soraya at the Hair and Beauty corner for a relaxer however she convinced me to try the keratin treatment by explaining the benefits of keratin and making me aware of the pros and cons of both. I have 4C hair and after the treatment my hair was pin straight, bouncy and felt so soft and luxurious! I had a great experience it took around 4 hours for the keratin treatment, cut and blow dry but it went very quickly. I would 100% recommend if you are a black woman looking for an afro hair specialist salon in Manchester but also for Caucasian hair, she can do both!

Always get my perm done here every 6-8 months or so. Very nice end result and a professional service. Decent price for a good job too.

Soraya is a professional through and through. She is accomodating to all clientale which I love and never makes you feel like she is in a rush while doing your hair. Some things I love about this salon is that it feels like a true experience, offering tea and coffee as well as mani, pedis and I believe even spray tans. The salon is clean and the staff is friendly.Soraya is also one of a few few people in the Manchester area who know how to do keratin treatments. I would highly recommend. She will speak to you about the best way to grow and retain length with your hair as is very honest with what she thinks will work.

Without a doubt the best salon I've been to.I've been coming here for 3 years. I used to relax my hair and have a sensitive and dry scalp, once I stopped relaxing, Soraya at the salon has done wonders for my hair, always advising what is best for it. It is now growing faster, my scalp has improved, and my hair is looking and feeling healthier.I wouldn't want anywhere else to do my hair. The salon itself is always great vibes, welcoming and friendly, you don't want to leave after your appointment! Would highly, highly recommend!

I have been going to the salon for years. This time I tried something new. They did individual twists to maximise and define my curls. I have never received so many compliments on my curls.I should also say that they worked very quickly. I have very thick hair and it is quite long so I was surprised at how efficient they were.

1. They charge £15 for a patch test which is literally a cotton bud dipped in the solution and dabbed on your neck. - unheard of or unseen of from anywhere. Thereafter they take a 50% deposit of the treatment before any appointment is made. All of this NONE REFUNDABLE.2. The owner did not listen to the advice having had the procedure done for 15 years by a lady who moved abroad. She aggressively insisted the neutraliser solution only requires 3 mins . In my experience it has been left on for a minimum of 20 at the other salons and yielded a result. When i said i didn’t want the solution removing she ran to the door, locked it and trapped me . i felt scared , vulnerable and threatened. she said loudly “i’m going to get someone” . fearing for my safety i allowed her to wash of the solution and to no surprise it had only been 5 mins now there was no curls even on the hair she’d managed to roll . she tried to blame the fact the hair was short however a large proportion was placed into the rollers and did not become curly due to incorrect procedures. i can provide photo evidence. i left feeling hurt scared and anxious at the way i had been made to feel.

Wonderful service. I have attended twice now for a keratin treat. That similar to a perm.Always accommodating and ensures everything is done so I am leaving happy. My hair is treated so well. Something I am quite particular on. Clearly knows their field well ☺️

The best experience I have had! When it comes to Afro hair and specifically 4c hair they are expert in the field. I had a keratin treatment done and beaded weave application and I would highly recommend these two services as an alternative to the traditional sew-ins.Staff is polite and makes you feel welcomed. The location is perfect and decor is well curated.
