Absolutely loved our stay at Well Furlong Shepherds Retreat. Beautiful accommodation and a wonderful view. Highly recommended and we'd love to return.

My husband and son spent New Year at Well Furlong Shepherds Retreat. On arrival we were all overwhelmed by the standard of the hut itself. Every attention to detail, the great design and the space. We had brought our labrador Bron and there was plenty of space both inside and outside for her. The retreat is warm and cosy, has a fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, and a TV for an afternoon movie. The walks were fabulous, either on the 80 acres of farm land or from the public footpaths that link easily to the Bredon hills or the local villages. We had brought enough supplies with us so we did not try the many pubs, and shops but there seemed to be a many good reviews and lots to do in the area. If like us you just want to walk, sit in the hot tub star watch, watch a sun set and then rise again, read and play a good old fashion board game, then this is definitely the place to go.

We were delighted to discover that Well Furlong cottage is just as stunning as it looks on-line. It is very thoughtfully equipped, tastefully decorated, and has a luxurious but cosy feel thanks to the quality finishing touches.I stayed Monday to Friday with my two sons, two daughters-in-law and two baby grandchildren. We were greeted by Pollyanne, who gave us a little tour of the cottage and spa area, then left us to settle in and enjoy the delicious homemade scones, jam, cream and chilled wine - just the thing to start our break on an indulgent note! Pollyanne and Giles were fantastic hosts, extremely helpful and very friendly.We all enjoyed the fabulous pool and jacuzzi in its spacious heated room. This was a great family friendly space for the babies to take their first dips, as well as lots of fun for the adults come the evenings. After fun in the pool it was wonderful spending time relaxing with a glass of wine in the comfortable sitting room with its comfy sofa and snug throws. Early in our stay we made a short visit to a relative in Worcester, stocked up in Waitrose there and didn't need to leave Well Furlong cottage again until we had to say our fond farewells and pack up the cars. We are all thoroughly looking forward to our next visit and hope to extend our party by booking the shepherd's hut for a few more of our family members!Thank you so much for helping us make some great memories in your beautiful cottage.The 7 Savages""

We stayed 5 nights at the Well Furlong Shepherds Hut.This exceeded our expectations with a very high standard throughout from the cutlery to the linen and a fantastic bathroom.We enjoyed the hot tub and the wood burning stove on a particularly bad weather day.We had a very relaxing time watching the pheasants and the owls.Recommend:The Queen Elizabeth where we had lunchTake Wellies!

An amazing cosy shepherd's hut with hot tub and beautiful grounds for a long weekend getaway. They also had it wonderfully decorated for Christmas!

Ideal retreat for seven nights away with our adult children and grandchildren. The well proportioned and equipped property adjoins but is private from the owners house. It’s a home away from home, and has been thoughtfully designed throughout.The owners are a lovely friendly family and can’t do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay but equally do not intrude. The tennis court, games room and swimming pool are shared with the owners family, this was never a problem, and we didn’t actually see them using the pool whilst we were there. Great area for walking and cycling. Highly Recommended …..

What a wonderful place to stay and relax. So cosy, and comfortable yet spacious for our family. Super comfy beds and large bedrooms with ensuites.The hosts were so friendly and accomodating. We loved the freshly made mince pies and bottle of red wine on arrival - such a lovely kind gesture.The spa and heated pool were a terrific addition, we used them everyday.Will definitely stay here again next time we visit the UK.

My partner and I spent 3 nights at Well Furlong Shepherds retreat and it exceeded expectations. The retreat itself was very clean, secluded and relaxing. Pollyanne and her family were very friendly and happy to help but also didnt disturb us and left us to it. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the wood burning stove. Pollyanne and Giles also supplied the place well so we were able to easily cook for ourselves. We also enjoyed a fabulous night at the local pub the Queen Elizabeth and a delicious breakfast at a nearby farm shop both recommended to us by Pollyanne. The only negative thing i can think to say is that it's a rural area and as town folk we struggled to work out which footpaths to take to get to where we wanted to go but it was all part of the adventure! Would definately recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing few days away from the hussle and bussle. Thank you Pollyanne and Giles!

July 2022 stay at Well Furlong CottageOur staycation at Well Furlong Cottage was to give our daughter and her friend a relaxing break having just completed their GCSE’s, and as an early birthday treat for my wife and daughter.We all had a great time. The accommodation was fantastic, clean, modern, spacious and very comfortable. Pollyanne and Giles were very friendly and always there if you needed advice or just a chat.The facilities were exceptional. We loved the pool and jacuzzi, especially having private access to this. The girls also loved being able to use the tennis court.It was lovely to have your horse come over every morning for a pat and stroke and to be able to walk around your fields with the weather being so nice.We would have loved to have had more time to be able to visit some more of the local villages and try some of the (shorter) walks, but with the pool and tennis court it was hard pull ourselves away from the cottage.Our meal at The Queen Elizabeth Inn was also very nice, your recommendation for this was appreciated.Thank you and we will definitely look at coming back in the future.

Such a wonderful 3 night stay at the Well Furlong Shepherds Retreat. The Shepherds hut was spacious and the details made it feel very luxurious. The jacuzzi was perfect for enjoying the cold winter evenings. We loved the convenience of having a dishwasher and coffee machine and the surrounding areas were so peaceful! Would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a chance to get away!
