Pumpkins at Over Farm

Super disappointed. A complete rip off at £7pp entrance (no concessions) before you even begin to spend on refreshments and pumpkins. No warning on entry that once inside it’s a complete mud bath and the PYO field is impassable due to the sticky mud and/or bogs in every direction meaning you get stuck very quickly… sadly has put us off ever returning to Over Farm events.Such a shame as we love the Farm shop.

We went pumpkin picking at over farm yesterday and we had the best time!Such a fun day out and dog friendly too!

Totally agree with previous reviews. A family of four cost us £25.... And you don't even get a pumpkin! So after a further £7.50 and a trample around a boggy field... Then kids then went inside a wooden pumpkin.... And then we left. To charge that money, you have to offer more than a wheel barrow and parking!

Had a fab morning pumpkin picking, such a well organised fun event. Shame the time of year creates so much mud for you for hey... All part of the fun!

Felt £6 pound for a 2 year old and a £1.50 booking fee a little bit unreasonable. Event wasn't quite as the images show a lot of the decorations looked tired for example an orange door in a field". The cost of a pumpkin was £10 for one you could buy for £2 at asda felt at little over priced. I appreciate the hard work and dedication of farmers and how they need to subsidise their income with opportunities like these but these costs and £12.50 for a burger are too much."

Good fun but very expensive considering you pay for entrance and for the pumpkins themselves. Had a lovely time but I don’t think I would do it again unfortunately

What a fantastic morning out. Have never been to Over Farm before we were looking forward to it. It was incredibly muddy but the amount of rain we have recently had made it particularly bad. However, that did not put us off. Knee deep in mud made the experience really great fun!! There are an incredible selection of pumpkins, gourds, marrow, squash all different shapes and sizes and the colours were phenomenal. You could pick your own or pick those already collected. It was set up so well, easy to navigate. We took lots of photos as the colours were so beautiful and autumnal. There were places to eat and drink (we did not try these) toilet facilities, areas to wash your pumpkins (as well as wellies). Areas to weigh your pumpkins should you wish to know the prices beforehand. We would recommend this place to everyone, young and old. But at the moment wellies are an absolute must!!!

Overpriced for what it is. £6 entry pp plus pumpkins on top, we got 1 large one for £7 and a small one for £2.On top of this two hot chocolates at £4.95 each£30.90 in total to pick some pumpkins is a bit of a rip off

We did not enjoy our experience at Over Farm this year. It was horrendously muddy and impossible to navigate with young children. They all complained the whole time we were there. A lot needed to be done to overcome the 6inches of mud covering every footpath. We gave up and turned back without “picking” any pumpkins and decided to grab some from the crates situated near the entrance instead. If that’s the state it’s going to be in every year we will not be returning. The kids were very disappointed that they couldn’t go on the wooden playground as well.
