I had an unorthodox request from a tenant to retrieve something from there room for them. The kind receptionist showed extreme patience helping me with it.

Kelvingrove house is an amazing place to live if your a student. the location is absolutely stunning and convenient. But the main reason for this review is for a member of staff. Melissa the receptionist. She has made this year so much easier. she is friendly and easy to talk to. She is also so caring and i have been able to talk to her about anything. thank you for everything.

Lovely place for students. Quiet, peaceful, convenient. Just 15 minute walk to uni. Tesco is also just at your next door. The place itself clean, regularly maintained. It has a reasonable size gym, a vending machine, a study room. The staffs, especially Melissa, are very friendly and helpful. Professional in dealing with the rental and other emergency issues. Whenever something is broken in my room, they’re always taken care of quickly. Melissa is also thoughtful in organizing seasonal/cultural celebration (like Halloween, Christmas, Chinese new year). You definitely feel safe to be in this place.

I am currently living in Kelvingrove House and the staff and facilities are excellent. Repairs (such as lightbulb changes) were done quickly and Dave is very friendly. The gym is great and the building has handled COVID restrictions well, such as putting a rota for the gym so that people from different households won't mix. Chris the receptionist is very nice and easy to talk to, and has hosted a lot of fun events in the building. The location is near a bunch of charity shop and supermarkets and is 30 minute walk for the city centre. It is also near the university though we haven't had any in person lectures so i've not yet had to experience walking over to that area of the campus. The staff are great and the rooms are lovely.

As an international student, Melissa went out of her way to make the moving process as easy and smooth as possible. The building has a prime location and is only a 10-minute walk to the university. Not to mention it is surrounded by great restaurants, cafes and right across from a wonderful public park (which is great if you're a runner like myself). My room was spacious and clean upon arrival. Additionally, throughout my stay, Melissa was extremely helpful in resolving any room maintenance issues. Overall, I highly recommend this student accommodation!

Kelvingrove House is a great student accommodation with nice rooms and facilities. The area in which it is located is very close to the University of Glasgow and the city centre, being only 10 minutes away from the main building of the University. The reception and the entire building are always kept tidy and clean, and all the post is delivered safely and on time. Melissa is always happy to help every student and does her best at answering any questions, making it very home-like environment. Thank you for making Glasgow feel like home. I would totally recommend this place to anyone.

I've had a great experience living at Kelvingrove House. The staff here are amazing and will go above and beyond to help you. The location is extremely convenient, being near pretty much everything. The uni is a short walk away and I had the pleasure of waking up to an amazing view of the museum everyday. There's also a Tesco right next door which is great if you hate walking with heavy groceries (there's also a lift which is a huge plus). Repairs are dealt with quickly and efficiently by Dave. Both Chris, the receptionist, and Bal, the property manager, have supported me greatly throughout my stay and were very understanding when I had to cut my stay short due to the third lockdown. I cannot express enough how great the staff are here, they've been one of the highlights of my stay. I highly recommend this place to students looking for a place to stay, particularly if you want somewhere a lil more quiet and chill.

The staff are very friendly and communication with students is good. The common room area and reception are always kept clean and tidy. Jim in particular is very helpful and always fixes things in an extremely timely manner. Kelvingrove house is in a very good location, it is close to the University of Glasgow and local amenities. There is also a nice view of Kelvingrove Art Gallery from the rooms on one side of the building. However, I am concerned that there is no recycling at Kelvingrove House. This is concerning considering that a huge amount of rubbish is generated as there are a lot of students living here and it all goes into general waste. In future I would like there to be an extremely strong emphasis on recycling with the provision of new separate bins for food waste, plastic, paper etc. in accordance with the City of Glasgow council recycling regulations. Also, the cost of the washing machines and dryers is very high considering the amount already paid in rent to live here. £2.80 is very expensive for a single wash cycle, especially for people who have jobs and have to wash their uniform regularly. I know circuit laundry is a private company that provides commercial laundry solutions and there is a charge for using the machines to go towards their upkeep and maintenance, however, the costs which are currently charged do seem excessively high. Changing the laundry room system may be expensive but if there is any way which the cost could be reduced it would definitely be beneficial for students.
