I have been here before and came back and felt another review was needed. I had a beautiful meal and was served by a very charming man. The food is very good and the atmosphere is great. I will definitely be back

Recently refurbished this country pub is now brighter and more welcoming for the non-local (some of these older pubs might seem charming but have a distinct you're not local" atmosphere). That's not true here: friendly staff

The best seafood platter I’ve eaten at a pub, the staff were an absolute delight (the landlady was especially amazing), very reasonable prices and a very cute atmosphere with a Welsh setting.

Absolutely delightful landlord. Rang up to see if we could pop down for dinner with 3 adults and 3 children. He saved us a table and when we got lost on the way and rang he gave helpful directions! Lovely food and varied menu. Excellent service. Lovely atmosphere.

Super host! Excellent home cooked food and amazing choice of spirits behind the bar.Will definitely be returning later this year when we visit Brecon again!

Lovely place after a hike in the Brecons. Loved my vegetarian lasagna. My friend not so keen on his curry but quantity was excellent. Recommended by me. Thought staff service was excellent. Both meals and a couple drinks each about £30 , friendly locals too.
