In the Isle of Skye we found this Japanese restaurant. The food is nice. We’ve tried Japanese food in it’s origin state and this one is quite ok. Unagi, Salmon and Chicken Katsu curry is ok. Servings is good.

Food is very expensive and not nice. The service is bad. Only cash is accepted. The staff who are all from China is very fussy about giving napkin. No high chair for kids are available.

Cozy and lovely atmosphere.The waitress was very attentive. Was very honest and helpful, especially because my sister has a lot of allergies.Food was amazing. The ramen might have not been the best, but the Chicken teriyaki und fried beef udon were amazing.If your thinking about taking the spicy Tonkatsu, it is very spicy, dont underrestimate it. But I would recommend the Chicken Teriyaki anyway. Unfortunately I forgot to take a brother of it.The starters were also very tasty.So even though the Pork Tonkatsu wasn't that good, I still give it 5 stars, because the other food were really nice.You will probably pay around 20-25 pounds per person if ya dont take starters.Btw they only accept cash, but it may change in the future

Everywhere was fully booked in Portree but we did manage to go to a Japanese restaurant (Tomita). It was quite expensive, cash only and added a service charge on top but it was open and available, the food was hot, tap water was free and there was a toilet!

Great spot. Very good and nicely decorated inside, maybe not authentic but probably the only place in Skye to offer this cuisine. Would say that the salt and pepper chips are among the best I have ever had.

Had the most delicious chicken ramen here. Came by a surprise in the small town of portree. Authentic Japanese food and a great anime theme inside the restaurant. Highly recommended.

The payment options are limited to cash and WePay. Additionally, the restaurant is Chinese-run, so the cuisine might not be authentic or as flavorful as Japanese cuisine. During our visit, we were suggested to try the spicy broth, which came at an extra cost of £2.5. However, the broth turned out to be disappointingly bland, with no discernible flavors beyond spice.Furthermore, the prices were unreasonably high, and we were charged a service fee without receiving any additional service during the meal.Therefore, I would suggest not dining here to avoid a disappointing experience and high expense.
