Very unproffessional management. Dissappointing

A very friendly place to work and there is plenty of work to be had - but worker beware : The company covers a large area and some shifts a a distance At the weekend I was requested to work in Cambridge which is over 52 miles away from me . I was told that the company liked my work and requested me especially but when I arrived to complete 18 hrs work there was another agency worker from Better health care in my place . I lost over £200 pounds and over four hours of travelling time for this. The client who booked my service is refusing to pay ( my agency who get there fee paid by the other worker being there, have offered to pay me 2 hours £18 for my loss of travel , and basically I have to “suck it up !”
