Reno's Eritrean Restaurant

I am Italian and when I go to an Italian restaurant I expect it to be authentic.If this is Italian food I am the Queen of England.This place has the food quality of a takeaway, without being a takeaway.Friendly staff but food was horrible - to give an example: the bruschetta was in fact a mini pizza topped up with all sort of weird things and very greasy.

Great food, wine & service & very reasonably priced as well. Fabulous Italian home-cooked dishes including the pasta. All the usual delicious Italian dishes plus some fantastic specials - all freshly cooked to order. Oh, and the Amaretto double baked cheesecake is to die for!!! Currently working my way through the menu. Great selection of wines too. The restaurant has been completely refurbished & looks great. Ladies toilets are the best I've ever seen even in top London hotels & come complete with everything you need to freshen up for the rest of the evening - individual hand towels, soaps, hand lotion, perfume - Fendi no less. Highly recommend you give Renos a try - you won't be disappointed.

What a hidden gem! We were looking for some food suitable for vegans, and we were greeted with wonderful hospitality, served an incredible Eritrean meal that was more than we could handle, but all delicious, and the price was very reasonable too! The mushrooms and garlicky spinach were my favourites! I would recommend it to anyone looking for new flavours, vegans, vegetarians and others. Well within student budget too!

Nice cosy authentic ethiopian and Eritrean food. Best thing it to grt mix plates to try everything they serve and get introduced to their cousine

Really tasty food and excellent service. So glad to find an Eritrean restaurant in Nottingham since moving back from London...and a brilliant one at that.

I discovered this great little restaurant on my first visit to Nottingham and will definitely eat here again if I'm in the area. The proprietor and staff made me feel very welcome and the food was fantastic - wonderful risotto and a crisp and tasty salad followed by a cheesecake that was a refreshing change from the sugary mousse that is frequently served elsewhere. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good food and charming manners, not to mention an ambience conducive to relaxation and gentle enjoyment.

Amazingly tasty, Italian classics obviously all freshly made. The pasta in particular is divine and I don't think I've ever had a better crumble, anywhere!Friendly staff and prices, I'll certainly be back.
