It was pleasantly surprised by the service and the skills of the lady who cut my daughters hair - she knew exactly how to cut and blow dry her curls. Fresh coffee and hot chocolate was a bonus!

I’ve had Hannah colour and cut my hair here for years. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Always high quality service and results. I’m a natural brunette and have a natural blonde put through. Love it there and my hair.

Had my hair done on Wednesday by MacKenzie.. She was amazing and was amazing with my little ones, too, who came along with me. Thank you so much for everything. Definitely be coming back.

I've been using this hairdressers for over 10 years and every single member of staff is lovely, very experienced and friendly and I thoroughly enjoy getting my hair done here. Special thanks to Mary who always does my colour to perfection, Stacey who cuts my hair exactly how I want it and also to Hannah for cutting my hair beautifully as well. Absolute gem of a hairdressers. Have had my hair done by a number of stylists of the last few years (Kathy, Hannah, Mary, Nicky) and they absolutely know what they are doing. Listen to what you ask for and make sure that I leave happy every time. Nothing is too much bother, great service and would thoroughly recommend!

Despite using this salon for decades, I have never written a formal review and I thought it time I did. The whole team at the salon are amazing. From the time you walk though the door until the time you leave, absolutely nothing is too much trouble. My stylists are Mary for my colour and Kathy for my cut, and they are masters at what they do. I have absolute faith in both of them, so much so, I no longer need to tell than what I want, as they know exactly what works, and is best for my hair. Over the course of time I have been using the salon, I have been washed, dried etc by all of the juniors…. Many who have now gone on to be qualified stylists in their own right and at my most recent visit, Marianna gave me one of the best head massages at the bowl while I was waiting for my Ultimate Treatment, which is also wonderful to settle. I honestly leave the salon feeling like a million dollars, and I’m already looking forward to my next appointment in a few weeks time. Even though Eltham is not local to me, the distance I travel to get there is worth it because I know I will always get 5 star treatment. Highly recommended

The hair stylist was warm and friendly, and my hair cut is fine. The salon itself is also very nice.I am however really disappointed with the colour I received - I have naturally dark blonde hair, and asked for a balayage. I got quite a bit cut off, and the ends had the lighter colour I wanted for the stylists reference (the hair she was dying was almost all natural). Unfortunately, the dye job I received doesn’t look like it has been dyed or lifted at all. I did state this at the time, and the stylist said it was because it was going on to natural colour, which I don’t really understand as my previous dye job was going onto natural colour and was the lighter colour I wanted.I have left it a few weeks to see if it settles in/ brightens up but unfortunately not. I am disappointed that for the amount of money spent, and that I stated it was not what I asked for at the time, there was no offer to fix it in any way.Just as an additional note, my absolute favourite part of getting my hair done is the little head massage you get when your hair is being washed - it would be nice if you could incorporate this in.

I use to go to a barber but the experience and the customer service wasn't great. I have been going to Beyond the Fringe for years now and they also go above and beyond for the satisfaction of their customers. All the staff and super friendly and great at what they do.The place is always kept clean and tidy, the prices are good for the experience you get and I always leave with a smile on my face.I have the same hairdresser every time and she does an amazing job without fail. She is the best around, thank you Stacey!
