I have used Ascension Signs to do 4 offices over the last 10 years and every time the job has been done to a very high standard. I have other companies call into my Sea Road office to ask who did the sign and I am more than happy to recommend Steve to do a good job for you.I have only seen these reviews after looking online as I want him to do some more work for me. Poor quality full of excuses avoid at all costs. Paid over 4k for illuminated sign had to eventually get another contractor to correct the abomination of a frame work that this company put up not to mention all the delays and excuses trying to get it done in the first place. Feel free to contact me direct can show pictures of the efforts this company can produce. He even has it as a flagship sign on his webite what a joke.

After been let down by a few sign companies I looked locally and found ascension signs. The owner Steve was very professional helped pick out a design and even suggests a few ideas himself like painting th front grey and the amber lighting will contrast with the grey, we were skeptical of the idea as we have never seen this kind of colour scheme but wow! Brilliant design by steve.. jake fitted the signs on my van looks great.. smooth transition from first phonecall to fitting.. and the price was fantastic..great company to deal with and would advise anyone to call these guys.. faultless.. thank you steve and jake.. lewis plumbing and heating

Ordered a job and was given two prices I opted for the full job at more expensive price. Paid upfront as requested. Job took 4 weeks longer to start than quoted, Steve had a lot excuses about machines going down and him himself being let down by engineers. When the job did get started I only got the cheaper 1 vinyl service. Steve had more excuses about why the full job couldn't be completed. After 3 months or so I just asked for a refund of the overpayment.Steve has been dodging this refund for almost a year now. Promises of cash being dropped into the shop have been broken on more than 5 occasions. I have visited his premises and he even processed a refund on his pdq machine which he later cancelled according to the provider. I have asked for bacs transfer several times but he blames not having a card reader. Every credible business who plans on paying people should have one of these. He has promised to send cheques on several occasions but nothing arrives.When I call his business mobile number (no landline number for his business) my call goes direct to voicemail unless I hide my caller ID. When he answers I normally get an apology and another promise of payment which never materialises.I notice other people have reported similar behaviour and he has claimed its a competitor. Well I have full proof of email threads, texts and even the cancelled refund receipt to show that he has done everything to avoid paying what to a business is a nominal amount.The amount of work he has lost through business I could of referred far exceeds the value of this debt to me. I have been chasing him out of principle alone, but I now feel other should be aware of his business practises.I suggest you avoid at all costs. Or at least do not pay until the work is competed satisfactorily.

Great service from Steve, Replied to all my emails at all times of the day almost instantly or with in a few hours (I live in Dubai and travel often so lots of time zone changes) even with a total design change, Steve recommend images to use because of he quality they would produce when enlarged. Had high hopes when we needed our vans wrapping. But Ascension really let us down. The date of work kept being changed and within a couple of weeks it's peeling off.Customer service is non-existent. We felt we were just getting in the way rather than being welcomed for our custom. We'll go elsewhere next time.
