I enquired about step through e bike hire. the guy badmouthed the step through style, when I explained it was for a 60 year old he didnt want to hire it out. I said she had ridden one before and he grumbled about if it wasnt suitable she wouldnt have to take it on the day, I said that would rather spoil the day so he then said no bikes available after all! totally took his bat home!

Really convenient E-bikes to pick up if you're staying in Grassington. The owners were also very flexible with the drop off time of the bikes.The bikes are standard mountain bikes with electric conversion kits and as such I found them a little less powerful than native eMTBs. The brakes could also probably do with a bit of maintenance. Overall, if you just want something for road riding, these bikes are fine but they are less adept at off-road riding (although it is still perfectly possible).
