The food was nice except the burger I had was a dry if I didn't have the brisket on top I feel it would have been alot dryer.Other then that I had an amazing evening cocktails are lovely.The outside area has a really chilled vibe and plenty of room on all the tables

Have been here several times over the last year either with my wife or in groups. The food is always lovely, very generous on portions. Pricing is good no different to similar restaurants in the area but the quality of the food is superior. Staff are always welcoming, attentive but don’t pester. Always a good sign that regardless the day you go the restaurant is always busy

We had a tasty lunch today. We shared some salt-n-pepper chicken wings - they were delicious.I had a cheese and bacon burger which was OK, the bun was very chewy and the burger wasn’t to my taste, it wasn’t meaty enough.The corn on the cob and coleslaw which my husband let me have from his meal were really good and our fries were perfect.My husband said his brisket was tasty but there was a bit too much treacle sauce, it would be better if the extra sauce came in a pot, allowing a person to add more if needed.We left just enough room for the banana bread toffee pudding, the tinder yummy and the rum-n-raisin ice cream was excellent.The service was very good and we would dine there again.

Cannot speak highly enough of this place.Food was absolutely delicious and pretty much all gluten free, reasonable prices too for being GF.Staff are really friendly, very clean restaurant over all & a pleasure to visit. Will be back Everytime I’m in Lowestoft!

Great place for something different.We had the sharing platter for 2, the bacon loin was exceptional as was the brisket.Generous portions and an extensive drinks menu to choose from.Staff were excellent, noticeably attentive and the food came out very fast with a full restaurant.Thanks:)

Cannot rate this restaurant highly enough! We came for Sunday lunch which was amazing! Incredible food, massive portions and great value at £23 for two courses. The staff were all lovely to us. We brought our dog with us, and they were beyond dog friendly - providing us with water, a blanket and treats. Our only “complaint” is that there was so much delicious food that we were too full to try dessert, but we’ll definitely be back to try that another day!

I went to the copper smokehouse Sunday with my girlfriend for the first time and definitely won’t be the last. Cannot rate it enough! The food was incredible and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Paula was amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks menu. She even recommended a few places to go after as this was our first time out in the area. Smoked turkey and the smoked gravy were the star of the show! Very generous portions, we had to pack it up and finished the rest later on. Thank you very much for a wonderful experience and we will definitely see you again soon!

Terrific lunch enjoyed by our family following a boat trip on the Broads.I went for the chicken burger pictured - and left very full up!Great place, very friendly staff and service. Would love to visit again next time we’re in the area.

The Copper Smokehouse
We went there following the good reviews and I have to say it was one of the nicest meals we have had in a long time. They are super dog friendly and the kids meals were well portioned and delicious. I had the bees and rib combo. The meat was very well smoked and the BBQ sauce was sweet and complementary. For starters I had a back pudding scorch egg which was absolutely fantastic. My wife had pan fried chicken that was delicious and garlicy. Will be going there later this week for lunch!

Me and my family booked an evening dinner at the smokehouse for myself , my partner and the 2 children, the lady at the bar welcomed us in and was really nice and super friendly ☺️. The food was delicious and she informed us everything from the menu was made fresh in the kitchen on the day, even the bread buns for the burgers. After a little bit of talking with the owner she told us they are always fully booked 60+ people for lunch and the same for the evening dinner which says it all really Would definitely visit again.
