Kendal Farmers Market

Came upon this busy little market unexpectedly, in the old market square just off the high street. Some tempting local produce including meat, homemade pies with unusual fillings, speciality cheeses, bread, jams and chutneys, wine and gin. A couple of craft stalls too. There was a hog roast, a barista and a stall serving hot fish chowder. Traders were friendly and helpful without being pushy. The market square is very pleasant with historic buildings, outdoor café tables and some quaint narrow streets leading from it. Well worth a visit.

Kendal Farmers Market is such a pretty market, the cheese stalls are exceptional, local honey, handmade cakes, an epic fish stall. So much to explore, we love a monthly shopping treat - the nearby parking is excellent.We treasure being apart of such a buzzing market.

The products look good but the prices are painful.

Fab market, lovely stallholders, and great produce including sustainably & locally grown flowers, fantastic bread, great cheese and wine, local meat and eggs and body products for you and your dog. Thoroughly recommend for the final Friday of the month.

Saturday and Wednesdays good market, definitely visit again, sometimes there are more stalls than other times
