Excellent trout fishery me and my mates all drove from county durham to fish here two of them bagged over 10 fish lovely place and not much wind lovely day and good fishing !

nice setting but poorly run, as previous poster toilets are non existent, very untidy around fishing bothy, would not return anytime soon.

I thoroughly enjoy fishing this establishment / location. You' re Just left alone to fish and enjoy the wildlife.Today I witnessed a young lad being helped by a regular fisherman and the young lad managed to catch and land his first ever fish.His face was a picture. His thankfulness towards the gentleman who helped him set up his rig was immense.Hopefully he shall return with his grandad on a regular basis.

19/09/17Fished the water today had a good days fishing 4 landed 1 lost, I fished the cabin end across the oncoming wind with a 12s yellow dancer on slow retrieve. After multipull tugs I shortened the tail it done the trick.I will go again if in the areaGreat Hospitality from 2 guys
