Good place for little walk or just relax. Dorking down the hill looks good especially at the evening. If you go down in forest you'll find river and a path around the hill. Just opposite main car park you find bar and toilets, there is Smith&Western nearby as well. Don't be surprised if you meet cows during your walk. I come here often after work just to sit in quiet and enjoy the view.

Boxhill and the surrounding area are great for hikes and anyone who likes long walks and hikes will love it. There are plenty trails that can be followed.

Zabardast! What a landscape and atmosphere to experience in your lifetime. Should be top of everybody's bucket list for day trips planned in the UK. Credit to the local authorities for preserving the area and maintaining it as an AONB

Absolutely outstanding place for a weekend short trip. Family friendly, couples, pet friendly, it’s a good and clean place to walk. The stepping stones are a little bit challenging if you not an active sporty person. But you can do it!!!! Not too long. Good place for picnic too. We see people flying their drones, it’s a-bit loud to ruin the atmosphere of the quiet nature…. so If you want to fly a drone make sure you keep a distance from the people who are trying to enjoy their peacefulness ☺️

I live on the edge of the surrey hills and it always recharges my sense of well-being. Some really good walks and pleasant pubs make visiting a real treasure.
