I've been to see Emily three times now for some work with my TMJ symptomology and she's been phenomenal in helping me understand what's wrong with my jaw and how we can go about helping it to feel better.Emily is extremely knowledgeable and calm in that knowledge. Knowing I'm an anxious type who really struggles with medical stuff being done to me she's been amazing at letting me know exactly what she's doing and checking in with me every step of the way so I don't freeze up. Because she's working even inside my mouth I really needed someone who could be understanding of my extra struggles, and she most definitely is.I would 10000% recommend Emily. My jaw is carrying 20 years of tension and built up discomfort. But after a session with Emily it feels so so much better. Any pain or discomfort in the body I would highly recommend you have a chat with Emily. Her calm manner is so reassuring to be around. A genuinely lovely professional who you can trust.

I attended Ashburton Therapy for a massage after experiencing muscle pain and tightness in my back, neck and shoulders, which was causing headaches. I was really impressed with the treatment I received. The initial consultation before treatment commenced was thorough and the massage itself was therapeutic and very relaxing. Emily made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, worked on all the sore areas and I felt a great relief from the discomfort I was experiencing . I can highly recommend This treatment for everyone from relief of muscle tension to helping with rehab after injury.

Emily has been treating my painful c section scar and the results after 2 weeks are incredible. I'm no longer experiencing tightness in the area, have recovered feeling where the areas were completely numb and the scar has flattened out substantially and is no longer lumpy. I'd recommend this treatment to anyone suffering with painful scaring.

Emily is amazing. She is both professional and knowledgeable. Working with her is so wonderful, I always feel like a new woman after my treatments!

Firstly, I used to work with horses so my back is a muscular wreck. I have had 2 deep massages with Emily and each time have left feeling taller, realigned, and so much more relaxed. In the past I have found other massage therapists too gentle and have not felt it did anything more than feel quite nice at the time, whereas Emily's massages feel like they keep working and sorting my back out for days after. Secondly, I have a deep scar on my cheek after a car accident years ago, which I was acutely aware of due to weird sensations from severed nerves and twitching muscles around my eye. I had a couple of scar therapy sessions, which I felt cynical about during the process, but my scar has not bothered at all since having the treatment. Highly recommended.
