We had the best dinner at the Robin Hood restaurant. The staff were super accommodating to our every need, they couldn't do enough for us. The menu is wonderful and top quality!Special thank you to Jamie who gave us an outstanding service, we were very impressed.We are definitely coming back to the Robin Hood and recommending it to our friends and family!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to take my nan out for Christmas lunch. Pub it self was cosy and decorated perfectly for Christmas. Food was delicious. Staff was incredibly attentive especially Eadie who looked after us, she was fab! We will definitely be returning :) Thankyou all x

The service was slower than expected, but the food was lovely at our table. we had smothered chicken, their signature burger , and the mixed grill. The food was outstanding . So definitely worth a visit. The staff were lovely and friendly. Would definitely return again .

Staying for business purposes, but kitchen here is absolutely somewhere else than most of the places nearby that I stayed recently.Not just burgers and steaks or lasagne and pizzas.Instead having pan fried duck breasts, or lovely pork belly, yumm ;-).I can be very critical about the food but here it was exeptionaly good. Thank you chefs!Who fancy traditional cousine , I highly recommend to pop in . Happy and smily waiting staff will make you welcome and will make sure that everything is to your likes.

We came to the Robin Hood as a family of 4 and had a fabulous time. The food was delicious and our waiter Jamie was a real credit to the restaurant. It was so good we decided to try it again a few days later and left with similar fantastic impressions. We will definitely be retuning in the near future.

Delicious food - big portions for a great price! Stuff very friendly but especially Jamie who looked after us and made sure we were well looked after. Highly recommend this place!

don't like writing bad reviews but the service and food were, well I can't even find the words.When we arived I should have know it wouldn't be good as we were greeted by who I think was the manager, who can't possibly have an iron as his sher looked as if he had just got it from the bottom of the ironing baskets, his trousers looked as if he had had them on all week so not a good impression.We had booked a table for the restaurant, but were seated in the bar, which was OK, given menu's. He came back and got our drinks order. We ordered out food, which considering thier was us 4 an 2 others took nearly an hour to come out. We ordered 1 rare steak, 1 medium steak, gammon and pineapple, and burger and chips.When our steaks and chips arived the chips were dark brown with some light and you could see the oil in side the chips where they had been sitting in old cold oil and some fresh ones added to the dirty oil. I tasted one and had to spit it out I cut in the the rare steak not a sign of pink meat. He then proceed to bring cutlery an other meal, on placing the cutlery down he knocked over 3/4 of pint of beer over the table and me. To which he did say sorry, I asked for blue roll, which he got and stood thier watching as we tried to stop what was left on the table going over me any more. It was over my jumper, my jeans, it had even gone through to my pants, and over my new coat. He continued to watch as I tried to clean and sort my self out, if that had been any one he gave a dam he would have helped and continued to apologise profusely, but not a word. So I said that we could not expect the food and why, and the his attitude toward the hole experience was not acceptable, he did say he would no charge us for our drink. 2 pints of bear one over me and a small glass of wine. I don't blame him entirely as the area manager has to take so of the responsibilities for his

A lovely clean pub. Staff so friendly and the food was delicious. The main course was so big I took half home. First visit but won't be the last. Even the general manager cleaned the tables. They all help each other. Talking to our waitress and waiter the morale is for all to see how they talk about the place. The 2nd visit was a disaster. Waited ages even though there were only 3 of us. Chips came cold and awful. Very bland completely different from the 1st visit. It was freezing very little heating. Very disappointed as it was my son's partner's birthday treat. They had very little food ,no steaks. We won't be back.

Had a meal here today, 4 of us. Wasnt great, we had 2 chefs special starter to share, not enough bread for 2 people to have with camerbert and terrine. The terrine was ok but tasted like cornbeef. Camerbert was nice, the spicy chicken was nice. We asked for more bread it took so long to come out we had almost finished. When it eventually came out after asking twice, it was toasted and like little bruchettas. The main courses weren't great, had 2 mixed grills chicken was burnt on both mixed grills, had to ask for another 4oz steak as the first was well done when I asked for medium rare, the signature burger wasn't great pulled beef dripping was more like sliced beef hidden under the cheese with no sauce and the burger tasted more like grit. 10oz ribeye was probably the only good thing. Sticky toffee pudding was ok wasnt great. Had better. The menu looks better than what is served. Atmosphere wasn't great and wasn't busy yet everything took ages to come out like they were busy. Staff were friendly but no apology as to why food took so long. Alot of money was spent which could of got better elsewhere. Tables were sticky too like they had been cleaned with sugar. Not sure what has happened as have had better meals here in the past.
