Cosmeston Lakes Country Park
Went today on a bank holiday, been before but a beautiful walk with stunning views, the medieval village is fun for the children and a nice park! The only grumble I'd have is lack of parking for the size of the park/lake there isn't a whole amount of parking!Parking is also free for Blue badge holders and a pushchair can easily be pushed around the whole park

This area is outstanding, the lake and area around was created when the old quarry closed.Take a leisurely walk around the lake and take in the beautiful surroundings. They have a children's play area, various outlets selling drinks and food

I absolutely love this place! So beautiful and relaxing it's a long walk as well with many ways to go. A nice little cafe also that serves hot and cold food/drinks. Also a medieval village this is free from 10am until 12 you can also ask for a guided tour and if you're a doctor who fan you might find some of it familiar. Overall this place no matter what time of year is great for a nice walk. ( no drones or speedboats are aloud here due to health and safety )

Lovely long and short walks available along paths and boardwalks. Saw a crested grebe and a hairy Caterpillar. Toilets, cafe and reasonable parking available. No swimming but water sports.

Picturesque lake with swans and ducks swimming on the lake. A nice big surrounding area if you feel like getting steps in with a view. Nice big children’s park with seating. They have stalls near the park but as always they’re overpriced and expensive so you’re better off bringing your own snacks/drinks, also they charge to park now which is disgusting, they say the money goes back into the park but it hasn’t had any tlc in a while.

Cosmeston Lakes Country Park
A nice place for a day out. If you’re a bird watcher it is very convenient. Unless you are local It is a little out of the way and there’s not a huge amount of originality to tempt someone down from the M4. The car park is a large size with good facilities and not a huge cost.
