Excellent to get free parking in a central place. We shopped in Dumfries in 2 locations and stopped for a coffee and cake so used our free parking to support local businesses and will recommend Dumfries to other visitors.

Free parking is what it says. No overnight though, but it is close to the main market area and the other tourist attractions like Burns house etc.

Just happened to be in this car park as there were ev chargers in it. Car park seemed fine from what I could see. There was a kerb which was not easy to see at night that I nearly hit so maybe a white line or something?

Used the rapid charger here on my new electric car, and was charged £9.25p for 37kw. Beware all you EV owners, D&G are charging £1.50 minimum and 25p/kwh. Will charge at home in the future at 9p/kwh.
