Engleton House Surgery

I’ve never had a problem with this place, or it’s staff. appointment booking Is quite awkward. You have to phone 8 am every morning but since Covid I think you have to do that everywhere. The doctors and nurses are always friendly. Come away yet and satisfied, but I don’t visit the doctor often.

I had my first appointment at Engleton House yesterday and I was so impressed. I obtained a face to face appointment with ease.The receptionists were warm, friendly and helpful.I saw Dr Elizabeth Murphy, she was really kind and patient and listened to me.I came away feeling grateful to all. Thank you.

Rude receptionists that don't know the correct procedures , so make their own rules up giving incorrect information.No lady likes a smear, this was even worse at this practice due to rude uncaring nurse- I will never return there for this procedure.On the plus side the doctors are lovely and helpful so I guess they deserve the one star.Edited - a year later receptionists are still rude and snarky, no appointments this side of Christmas apparently.

Terrible service. Phoned to see a doctor, the receptionist took down my number incorrectly and I was advised a call back. Obviously no call back due her not taking down my number. Call back to see what's happening and then I was blamed for not giving my number properly or not updating my phone number immediately. Not good service, was promised a call back from a doctor. Still nothing 3 days later

The Doctors here, 4 of them, were understanding, accessible and very helpful in caring for our Mum in her last few weeks, having only recently registered her there. They were all consistently kind and caring in their approach to both Mum and to our family. We are very grateful to have had their expert care for her at this most needful time.

I’ve been with this surgery 8 years I’ve been well looked after . Drs are very helpful full caring they give me good advice . And even the receptionist are very helpful they always help me out if I need advice or an appointment . And well spoken . I am very happy with my GP for the first time in my life .

Oh wow.. I don't even throw there to start.. I want to give 0 stars but I don't have the option.- they don't care about patients.- if you have a baby and you want to make an appointment because your baby has diarrhoea, spots or something else that you as a mother feel that it's not right, don't worry. As long as the baby is eating and it's happy there is no problem, ITS NORMAL. EVERYTHING IS NORMAL FOR THEM WHEN THERE IS NOT.-if you want to check up on yourself because you're not feeling good and you want blood test .. why? Noo.. you're OK you don't need that. And you end up in hospital with whatever problems.-stomach problems? Until you end up in hospital for 3 days they don't care!- they promised that you will be seen by a specialist regarding your problem? Don't worry they'll never contact you anymore.- I also don't want to talk about their knowledge.. some of them are really incompetents.So.. yea, don't choose them. :)

From the reception team, who are always professional,  personable, knowledgeable, willing to flex to accommodate circumstances and offer alternatives; through to doctors that have been considerate, passionate and pragmatic ... the Engleton Team have all been a positive source of advice and reassurance. And they have a good sense humour, which always helps!The reception team provide a fair gatekeeper service, focusing on patient need. Doctors and nurses are accessible, usually same day including out of hours service flexibility.A brilliant practice providing a great service overall.

I really don't like doing this 95 percent of engelton house is fantastic but ther is a gatekeeper receptionist who thinks she is gandalf you shall not pass lol... absolute disgrace.... this would be 5 star if not for that...

Arrived at the surgery around 19:23, I was greeted by a very cheerful lady at reception, who addressed me by my forename and asked me to have a seat. At 19:30 (my appointment time) a Doctor came up and invited me over. He was very tentative and polite. We both had our masks on throughout. Said bye (Obrigado) to the cheerful receptionist I can't fault the service I received. Would recommend.
