Owner was rushing me when I was I was taking my time to put the clothes in the drier nicely to make sure they don't come out creased. Saying something along the lines 'just throw them all in' 'trust me I've been doing it for 30 years' and 'if it was busy here people wouldn't be waiting for you but it's not busy at the moment so it's fine'The thing is, there's always a couple of machines out of order but the owner chooses to rush a customer to make things quickerI came 3 weekends in a row spending spending £15-20 on laundry each visit so I think I should be at least entitled to taking a few minutes to do things the way I want to but I guess I'll just go elsewhere

Very pleasant shop. Had a suit dry cleaned which was covered in stains and it came back spotless, would definitely recommend this laundrette.

Avoid! Wish I could leave a zero star rating.They ruined an expensive pair of curtains by melting the blackout lining and refused to take any responsibility or to give a refund.When I showed them the damage they told me they knew it would happen when the curtains were cleaned, but did it anyway. When I looked more closely, there were actually tiny holes in the curtains which the light shines through.Granted they are a bit cheaper than other places like Timpsons etc, but honestly not worth it, go somewhere that won't ruin your curtains!

Poor service. Paid £50 for duvet and protector to be washed. Came back with stains. Contacted manager who wanted to charge me to fix

Their laundrette my be quaint and good service but my experience of their dry cleaning is terrible. The clothes come back smelling the same as they went in. My new cleaner told me one of two things their not cleaning properly by not using enough solvent or your getting bumped and their not cleaning at all. See for years I though dry cleaning meant cleaning clothes dry apparently not my new guy told me, If your clothes are coming back from the dry cleaners smelling strongly of chemicals, it’s time to source a new launderette. The smell is a result of the solvent that replaces the water in the cleaning process not being left long enough to be completely removed. In addition, if your clothes have a lingering bad odour, it comes as a result of the launderette not using clean solvent. That means soil, sweat and anything else trapped in the fibres of your clothing is being redeposited rather than cleaned off. A good dry cleaner will always use clean solvent and know the appropriate time to leave the solvent in for in order to produce high-quality, clean clothing. Won’t be back at this dry cleaners bumping basta*dsAdditionally it was my 3 peice black funeral suit only worn a couple of hours i don’t smoke but all the family do and i hate my clothes stinking of smoke after you said you ckeaned it you obviously didn’t do a good job so to suggest i’m a rancid pishy cnut is a step beyond you place is a joke and by the time i’m finished in the area you’ll find a massive reduction in buisness!

Gave brand new dress in to be dry cleaned, and the lining inside is now ripped to shreds. Went back to complain and was told we had done it ourselves! Don’t put anything in here that is important to you as you might not get it back in one piece.

Prices for a wash and dry cycle are better than some others nearby, and the owner is very pleasant and accommodating. The hours of opening are better than some others in the surrounding area too at this point in time.

Fantastic very pleased with this laundry service. I like taking my bed washing round and drying it off at the laundry. I wash it at home and go round and dry it at the laundrette. I pay £2 for using the machine and then I will put £1.70 in the dryer and the bedding will be complete and dried up.
