Quay Auto Centre - Kingsbridge

I found Quay on their website when I was in the area, trying to find coolant for my Jaguar. Called in on spec. The reception staff went out of their way to find the right specification and coolant colour for the model, with Hannah having an unsurpassed knowledge of Jaguar coolants! She even tested the reservoir to find the right colour, and also tested the proportion of antifreeze and mixture. Outstanding customer service at this hard working industrious garage.

I phoned this garage to request a booking for my BMW for a full service at 08.45 on a weekday. It went to answerphone. I left my details and the numbers of my landline and mobile. It is now 2 weeks later and they have still not replied.I have given them one star for a working answerphone. Just a shame( for a local business) that they do not monitor it.It begs the question that if they are sloppy with phone queries, are they sloppy with their work too??I live locally but am now taking my car to a garage in Plymouth( 18 miles away).

Needed windscreen wiper replacements, they had to get the front ones brought in while I waited with a coffee for 20 minutes. Once yhe wipers arrived they were fitted for me aswell. Good service.

These guys were fantastic today. They went way beyond the normal level of Customer Service and were extremely helpful and capable in getting my car roadworthy and safe for our journey home from our holiday. See photo for their inventive solution to my failed boot latch problem. Thank you so much!!

Excellent customer care, from efficient receptionists to mechanic.I'm on holiday in Kingsbridge and had my wing mirror knocked off.I was told someone could look at it immediately. Very helpful and efficient staff. Welcoming.As soon as I drove in Matt was checking it out, to see if could he could repair the existing on, very keen to help. It couldn't be repaired, but an order was placed for a new one immediately.A special thanks to Matt who, although short staffed that day, he got right on and replaced the unit. They had my car for 8 days and had not even looked at it. No phone call to give me an update. Left numerous messages on Their answering machine as receptionist does not appear to answer the phone.Now been told they do not use their answer machine. Had thought I was a loyal customer. Very poor service and in the end had to pick up car without work being done and using another garage. No apology.Def would steer clear of this establishment.

Would not use this place again. Have had nothing but problems since they changed a simple part. Finally sorted by professionals. Reception staff unhelpful and seem to think they are the only garage in Devon. Avoid

It’s great to find a main dealer keeping such high standards of customer service over so many years . First bought a vehicle from Quay Auto 24 years ago and just bought another recently, having experienced many other models from various dealers in between. Simon and his team are highly skilled and welcoming. Highly recommend!
