Sean is very relaxed fella and easy to discuss piercings with. His knowledgeable on all things studs and rings. Ideas on what works best and putting customer health in front of their wants.Explains well why alternatives might look well but will have later issues to deal with. I know another place that would stick in the needle in your eye if you could pay for it.Cost is low and I think he should be charging more for the great service he provides.Thanks you made it all easy

I have went to get my belly pierced today, He was very friendly and welcoming and had told me to wait 6 weeks and said for me to come back and he would show me how to put another piercing in and he also would do it for me very clean and tidy . I would highly recommended this place if you are looking to get your piercings or tattoos done.

I went to Amethyst tattoo and piercing today to get my belly button pierced. Having only piercings in my ears getting my first body piercing was a nerve wracking experience. However Sean was super chatty and cracking jokes throughout and the experience was almost entirely painless! He was super lovely and helpful. Since I had waited outside for my appointment Sean insisted I did not have to pay and even gave me a discount. Really goes to show the incredibly welcoming and kind nature of the staff and the lovely experience! I’ve recommended this location to all my friends and they will be in for septum piercings next week! Thank you guys so so so much again!!

Visited Derry from the NYC and Megan and Sean took excellent care of me. Megan worked with me on the sketch of a leg piece and was extremely thorough and welcoming throughout the tattoo experience. If you live near this shop and these artists, you’re lucky. World-class artistry, professionalism, and warm hospitality. Worth the special trip to the north of Ireland just for this leg piece. Amethyst is the unequivocal spot.

Been looking for a few years for an artist to do a cover up.Megan is a true artist and I highly recommend her work.She is so good I traveled form Australia!!It was worth the trip !!!Thanks again Megan and your team!!!The best of the best!!!

We took my daughter to Amethyst for her first ear piercing last week. When we got there she was very nervous but Sean was amazing and very professional and made the whole experience very relaxed which helped so much. I can't recommend these guys highly enough, absolutely top class.

Travelled down as a group of four to get tattoos in Amethyst. All the staff were so friendly and made us all feel comfortable throughout. A few of the girls got piercings from Sean who explained the process well and talked the girls through the benefits of each piercing. Highly recommend!

I got two piercings and a tattoo done at amethyst recently, absolutely love both! Shaun and Karl were both so helpful and made me feel very at ease. Can’t recommend enough, I will definitely be back :)
