I have been popping in and out of the Commercial Railway for a few years now and I can say it is a welcoming pub with a friendly atmosphere. Trevor and Sue are the owners and always keep a tidy pub. Sky sports are shown and there is also a weekly quiz night on Tuesday evenings. Cask and draughts are on top form and there is a decent selection of spirits, liqueurs and mixers behind the counter. Along with a selection of snacks.It can be your local or just a place to pop through for a flying visit as it will suit your needs. Dominoes, darts, card games and pool is available for people wanting a game or two.

One of two pubs in Brighouse, which are definitely worth visiting. The Commercial in Rastick and the Red Rooster in Brookfoot. Hats off to, Trevor.

All 5 members of our group liked this pub the best on our day out to Brighouse. Really good real ales and quality pork pies with friendly staff.

A great place to pass some time whilst waiting for a train as I did. I was very pleased with the large selection of cask conditioned real ales & very reasonable prices. The place is a traditional style pub which I assume caters for a very local clientel. One room was given over as a tribute to the beatles & music in general. Musical (signed) instruments and lp's & posters adorned the walls. I don't know ow if food is served here. Whilst I don't think it's a venue for everyone. I very much enjoyed my visit & friendly chat with the locals. I will be back.

Really glad to have fallen asleep on the train. Woke up in Brighouse of all places with 30 munutes to kill before my train back. Couldn't resist a pint in this place. Beautifully kept cask and a convivial atmosphere. I'll put it on my list.

Really pleasant pub just outside the railway station. Nice bar area, and it also has a pool room. Friendly people.

What a great place,so relaxing,any other day I'd definitely have stayed for another few hours but it's Sunday and I better get going back to Liverpool. Try the pie's,had 1 in there and got 1 for my journey home, tried 2 real ales, they had 5 on, 5 wow! Pool and Darts, sky sports on TV, really great chat to..

Hidden gem in briggus nice beer friendly bar staff and locals clean toilets and lots of memorabilia to look at _ plus a pool room _something for everyone
