Chucked it down every day and still one of the best holidays I've had with the kids. Instructors are enthusiastic, full of cheery banter and encouragement. Food is delicious and my kids with food issues were catered for (discuss in advance and they bend over backwards for you - don't announce allergies etc on arrival day). Groups are put together with care and thought so activities are fun. Accommodation is yha level - clean, functional, comfy. Amazing value for money

I can't fault this place for kids. A week of challenging activities, similar age groups and all meals included. I was knackered by the end! The staff are great; very patient and encouraging Nathan, Dave, Scott, Connor, Dan. I've faced my fears a lot and sharing the experience with my son and other single parent families is one I'll never forget. Andy the cook went out of his way to cater for special dietary requirements and the food was enjoyable, and we could make a filling packed lunch each day. We sat with a different group at meal times so we never felt stuck with the same people and my son made lots of new friends, seeing him laughing and thriving with others has been the best. The only issue me and a lot of adults had was the bedrooms haha, awkward bunkbeds but it made for lots of funny conversations. The Goydon room is tiny, I didn't have a chair to sit on when I wanted to take 5 away from people and you can't just sit on a 3 bunk with ease! When we all compared rooms I had the smallest. Some people had a full dorm! We were only in it to shower and sleep. This is the only thing I would change. They provided all the waterproofs and wetsuits. You need toe covered shoes for the water sports day, that wasn't clear on the notice board and the village nearby is stunning, sadly we only had 15 minutes spare as we spent more time jumping in the reservoir, It would be worth a trip if you want to skip an activity or arrange to go by yourselves. We had 4 days of heavy rain but still enjoyed it. It's a beautiful place and they take you off site to explore local villages if you have enough time.It was easy to find and they have plenty of parking. There is a bar on site and down the road. There's a petrol station and co op 7 min drive away. On the last day there is no rush to leave early, they take care of the kids after breakfast so you can pack up and go after lunch if you want to. We headed back the evening before and missed the traffic. If you want to do something different with the kids to get them off screens and you want to challenge yourself as a single parent or family I highly recommend High Adventure. Book a few days off for yourself at the end because you'll need it!

My 9 year old son loved the holiday club this week. The hours of the club mean I don't need to take time off. He's come back exhausted each day and has never said he was bored which is a great result!

Great place to bring your kids of all ages!I'd highly recommend High Adventures to anyone looking for something to do with their kids this summer.Huge amount of activities with experienced staff on hand at all times. All the staff are friendly and happy to help out on requests.Great value for money, it's a tiring but very worthwhile and enjoyable experience. Had great time with kids doing all kinds of things we don't normally get the chance to do (archery, high ropes, canoeing, paddle boards, low ropes, weaseling, caving etc!) We haven't laughed so much every day too!!Home for a long rest and to look through some amazing photographs from a totally amazing week.

Had an amazing single family holiday. Food is seriously amazing, all staff so brilliant. Was an easy 6 night stay, kids loved it. Best holiday ever apparently!! Just be prepared for bunks and small rooms - but was rarely in the room so we didn't mind. Thank you all for being incredible people!!

My 11 year old absolutely loves this club. The activities are really fun and run by a lovely team of people who seem to make sure everyone is included and looked after. The opening hours are great from a drop off/ pick up perspective and their admin colleagues can’t do enough for you if you manage to inadvertently book the wrong day! I can’t recommend this club and team enough.

Student From Sharp Lane Primary SchoolLoved all the activities, especially the canoeing and the archery. Me and my friends would play tag and hide and seek in the dark and it was very fun. we'd also mess around in the bathrooms doing Bloody Mary! It was very fun and i'd recommend for kids under 6-14
